As a precious specialty in China, silky duck eggs has unique taste, rich nutrition and high economic benefits. However, silky duck eggs duck eggs are only produced in the waters of Xugou section of Qihe River, and the production scale is small,so it is difficult to be large-scale cultured. At present, the research on silky duck eggs mainly focuses on egg quality and nutrients, while the formation mechanism of silky duck eggs has not been further studied. From the perspective of hydrogeochemical environment, this paper preliminarily discussed the factors affecting the formation of silky duck eggs.Based on the collection of relevant information and field investigation, the samples of rocks, soil, river bottom mud, water body, water grass and silky duck eggs were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing in April 2021.The hydrogeochemical environment of egg-laying area and non-egg-laying area was analyzed and evaluated by geochemical method, and the relationship between hydrogeochemical environment and silky duck eggs was discussed. The main research contents and results are as follows:1)The rich variety of elements in the black mountain basalt near the egg production area can provide rich mineral nutrients for soil and water plants after rock weathering, and thus provide the necessary material basis for the formation of silky duck eggs. The difference between the concentration of most components in soil, sediment and water in egg-laying area and that in non-egg-laying area was relatively small, while the concentration of 20 elements in egg-laying area was significantly different from that in non-egg-laying area in the 31 indicators detected by water plants, which may be the influencing factor of the formation of silky duck eggs.In addition, the suitable nutrients, low heavy metal levels and good water quality in the sediments of the area provide suitable environmental conditions for the formation of silky duck eggs.2)The elemental composition of silky duck eggs is mainly divided into three parts:constant elements(Na,Ca,Mg and Mn),metal elements(Li,Be and Pb)and rare earth elements(Y,La,Ce,Pr and Dy).Compared with ordinary duck eggs, the contents of Na,Ca,Se and Fe in silky duck eggs were relatively high, while the contents of P,Sr,Cr,Cd,Pb and As were relatively low. There are big differences in mineral elements between egg yolk and egg white of silky duck eggs, which may be related to filamentwrapping.3)The study on the migration and transformation law of elements showed that the chemical elements of soil and sediment showed leaching loss as a whole compared with bedrock, and the leaching loss of chemical elements of sediment was more than that of soil. The bioconcentration factors(BCF)of aquatic plants in egg-laying area for Na,Ti,Cr,Fe,Ag,Pb,Li,Be,B,Al,Y,La,Ce,Pr,Dy and Ho were significantly higher than those in non-egg-laying area,so these elements were relatively enriched in non-egglaying area.4)The formation of silky duck eggs has nothing to do with duck breeds. The content of elements in silky duck eggs is closely related to the content of elements in the environment(rock, soil, sediment, grass and water)of laying area, and the content of elements in the environment may affect the formation of silky duck eggs.5)The water body, sediment and aquatic plants in the production area of silky duck eggs are rich in various mineral elements. The water temperature is always at19 °C,the riverbed is broad and flat, the flow velocity is slow, the water grass is lush, and the plankton is numerous, which provides suitable environmental conditions for the formation of silky duck eggs.In this paper, the relationship between hydrogeochemical environment and silky duck eggs was preliminarily analyzed. The environment of egg-producing areas, especially aquatic plants,is rich in various mineral elements, which may be the factors affecting the formation of silky duck eggs.Due to professional limitations, this paper only studies the formation of silky duck eggs from the perspective of hydrogeochemical environment. In the future, the formation mechanism of silky duck eggs should be studied from multiple disciplines and angles.
