The abundant associated lithium resources of bauxite in Guizhou have been studied for a long time.With the rapid development of new energy industry,finding new types of lithium ores has become a research hotspot in recent years.Most studies focus on the distribution law,host minerals,mineral sources,enrichment mechanism and metallogenic geological characteristics of associated lithium of bauxite.However,whether the Li content in different mining areas formed in the same structural system will be enriched differently has not been effectively discussed.Xinmin bauxite deposit and Datang bauxite deposit are super-large bauxite deposits discovered in recent years.They are located in the east wing of the same syncline-Datang syncline,and whether there are differences in the vertical and spatial distribution of Li content.In order to solve this problem,Xinmin bauxite deposit and Datang bauxite deposit are selected as the research objects.The conventional techniques such as thin section identification,scanning electron microscopy,XRD and geochemistry are used to preliminarily explore the distribution and enrichment mechanism of Li in Xinmin bauxite deposit and Datang bauxite deposit under the same metallogenic material sources and metallogenic conditions.The enrichment mode of Li in bauxite deposits under the same geological background is proposed.Based on the geochemical similarity and characteristics of trace elements(Ga-Zr-Cr,Zr-Hf),it is concluded that the source of Al ore-forming parent rock and Li in Xinmin bauxite deposit and Datang bauxite deposit are unified in these two aspects.In addition,the geochemical element ratio method(CIA,Sr/Ba,V/(V+Ni)and La/Y)consistently shows that the host minerals(kaolinite and illite(hydromica)),occurrence state(adsorption)and sedimentary environment(oxidation-reduction marine-continental transition phase,weak acid-weak alkali neutral environment and subtropical paleoclimate)of Li in the study area are the same.Geochemical properties of major elements(Si/Al and CIA are correlated with Li)and Surfer reduction palaeogeomorphology show that the weathering of Datang bauxite deposit and Xinmin bauxite deposit in Huanglong Formation(Datang bauxite deposit is stronger than Xinmin bauxite deposit)and Dazhuyuan Formation(Datang bauxite deposit is weaker than Xinmin bauxite deposit)is different,resulting in the enrichment of ore-forming materials of bauxite and Li in Xinmin bauxite deposit in the same sedimentary environment in the material handling stage,sedimentary stage and supergene leaching stage.
