The study of EEG signals not only has an important impact on the medical clinical field,but also has a positive impact on the development of Brain-Computer Interface(BCI)technology.The acquisition of high quality EEG signals and the development of high performance acquisition equipment is one of the foundations to assist EEG signal research.According to the actual needs of a science and technology project,this thesis designs an EEG signal acquisition system based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).The system features fast real-time data processing speed,high integration and scalability,providing a new solution for EEG signal acquisition.In order to achieve accurate EEG signal acquisition and real-time data processing,as well as wireless transmission with the host computer,this thesis separates the EEG signal acquisition system into two major parts,hardware and software,on account of the idea of hardware-software cooperative design.The hardware part is composed of signal acquisition module,module that can process EEG signals,Bluetooth module that transmits EEG data,modules available for data communication and system control module based on the modular design idea.The software part is separated into the design and development of the embedded drivers for the corresponding hardware and the upper computer application.In order to verify the effectiveness of the acquisition system,this thesis designs several sets of experiments to verify the system.By analyzing the acquired data,the acquisition system can perform filtering and noise reduction operations on EEG signals,which can meet the acquisition system’s requirements for spontaneous EEG signals and evoked EEG signals.
