Jiangxi Province has a well-developed river system and numerous reservoirs.Reservoir construction has played an important role in disaster prevention and mitigation in the river basin,promoting sustainable social and economic development,and ensuring social stability.Due to the serious soil erosion in Jiangxi Province,the reservoirs generally lack effective sediment discharge design,coupled with the weak awareness of sediment monitoring and management,the province’s reservoirs are in varying degrees of siltation,which is becoming more and more serious,which has a great impact on the safety of the reservoir and its function.influence.The changing trend of water and sediment in the basin and its relationship with reservoir construction,the research on reservoir deposition information in Jiangxi Province and the comprehensive impact of deposition on reservoirs have become important prerequisites for Jiangxi Province to carry out reservoir deposition regulation in the future.Therefore,this paper investigates and analyzes the basic situation of water and sediment changes and reservoir deposition in Jiangxi Province,and builds an evaluation model for the impact of reservoir deposition.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The long-term changes of runoff and sediment transport in the last 60 years of river basin control stations in Jiangxi Province were analyzed,and it was concluded that the river basin runoff in the whole province showed an insignificant growth trend during the analysis period.During the analysis period,the sediment transport in the Xinjiang River showed a significant decreasing trend,while the sediment transport in the Fuhe River and Xiuhe River showed a non-significant decreasing trend,while the sediment transport in the Rao River Basin increased slightly.The construction of large-scale reservoirs is an important driving factor for the change of water and sediment in the basin,and has obvious effect of reducing sediment.(2)The siltation of reservoirs in the whole province was investigated and analyzed,and 15 typical reservoirs were selected to test the characteristics of sediments.The results showed that the siltation rate of reservoirs in Jiangxi Province was about 4.06%.,Reservoir sediment pollution is mainly agricultural pollution,soil erosion is the main sedimentation factor,heavy metal pollution and organic matter pollution of reservoir sediment are at a relatively light level,and the overall ecological risk is small.(3)The evaluation index system of reservoir sedimentation impact was established,and the reservoir sedimentation impact evaluation model was constructed based on the improved set pair analysis method and the combined weighting method,and the applicability of the method was demonstrated.By carrying out the impact evaluation on the sedimentation of typical reservoirs,the results show that the reservoir sedimentation impact is at a "light" level,which is in line with the actual situation,which verifies the reliability of the model and provides a scientific and feasible method for determining the degree of reservoir sedimentation impact.
