Ethnobotanical Study Of She Nationality In Jiangxi Province

Take Xinyue She minority village,Zixi county,Jiangxi province as the research object,the scientific method of ethnobotany was adopted in the paper.A total investigation was carried out on the local plant resources,together with medicinal plants,edible plants and garden ornamental plants.The deep connection between She traditional culture and plant resources in Xinyue village,and the characteristic usage of local plants,were further employed.Finally,a scientific basis for the subsequent protection,inheritance and development is provided.The methods used in the paper including field survey,interviews with key figures,semi-structured interview,questionnaire survey,market survey and other methods,visiting the permanent members of Xinjian,Xinhong and Yuesan three groups,as well as vegetable markets and local markets.The main research results are reported as follows:(1)By sorting and classifying,405 plants of 277 genera from 114 families were recorded.The medicinal plants,edible plants and courtyard ornamental plants were analyzed separately,including the Latin name,Chinese name,She nationality name,utilization parts,utilization methods and functional treatment of the plants.(2)There were 125 species of medicinal plants,belonging to 104 genera and 63 families,including 80 species of woody plants,accounting for 64.00% of the total species;53.60% of the total number of plants took root as medicine;The treatment of spleen and stomach weakness,falling injury,dispel wind and dehumidification plants accounted for26.40%,24.80% and 24.80%,respectively;The main use is water fried internal service;There are 10 kinds of state-level protected medicinal plants,rare medicinal plants and special medicinal plants in Xinyue village.(3)There were 96 species of edible plants belonging to 74 genera and 38 families,of which 45 species were fruit species,accounting for 46.39% of the total species.The main edible methods are fried food,raw food,cold,soup and so on.(4)There were 195 species of ornamental plants belonging to 136 genera and 77 families,mainly including 85 species of ornamental whole plants and 69 species of ornamental flowers,accounting for 43.59% and 35.38% of the total species.Ornamental plants are mainly woody,among which 86 species of trees account for the absolute dominance,which is closely related to the characteristics of trees themselves with beautiful appearance and luxuriant foliage.Ornamental plants are both medicinal,edible,material and other multiple uses.(5)There are 84 species of ancient and famous trees in 33 families,55 genera,and most of them are cypressaceae and magnoliaceae.However,some plant resources have shown the symptoms of diseases and insect pests,such as hollow phenomenon of Magnolia magnolia and Acer pubinerve,and mildew and pollution of Podocarpus macrophylla.
