Based on the influence of the wind environment in the outdoor space of high-rise residential buildings on the behavior of residents,this paper finds that the solar radiation and wind environment are the main restrictive factors for the residents of high-rise residential areas in Xi’an to choose the outdoor space.However,there is a lack of analysis of the wind environment in the landscape architecture design stage,resulting in a generally poor wind environment in the outdoor activity space.Firstly,starting from the climate background of Xi’an,this paper sorts out the problems and reasons that affect the climate comfort of outdoor activities in Xi’an,and summarizes the climate discomfort that the wind environment can adjust and improve.Through the investigation of residents’ behavior in the outdoor activity space of Xi’an residential area and the field measurement,it is found that the wind speed in summer is an important climatic condition that determines where residents reside,especially the static activity crowd.Tall buildings block the natural wind,which makes the internal speed of the residential area low,and the residential activity sites are mostly enclosed layout,which intensifies the stuffy discomfort of the activity sites.It is cold in winter,but high-rise buildings produce a large number of intermittent shadow areas in the activity site,resulting in insufficient sunshine.Areas with good sunshine are vulnerable to the adverse wind effect of high-rise buildings,resulting in excessive local wind speed and increased discomfort.Therefore,in view of these problems,according to the characteristics of daily activities of residents in outdoor activity sites,this paper puts forward a design and analysis method of superposition of wind environment and sunshine suitable for high-rise residential areas in Xi’an.The wind environment design method of Xi’an high-rise residential area divided by seasons and periods is put forward,and the site design strategy of appropriate site enclosure,opening direction and plant configuration mode is determined according to the actual wind direction and wind condition of the site.And for the landscape architecture profession in the analysis of the site wind environment is not sufficient and comprehensive,resulting in a large deviation between the design results and the actual results.This paper analyzes the meteorological data such as wind direction and frequency in Xi’an,and summarizes the simulation methods applicable to high-rise residential areas in Xi’an through the simulation experiment conducted by fluent,which provides a certain reference for landscape architects in the simulation analysis of outdoor space wind environment in high-rise residential areas,so as to avoid the consumption of time and energy due to unclear parameter settings and inadequate analysis.Finally,Xi’an high-rise residential area is selected as a case to analyze and summarize the microclimate analysis method process and design strategy of Xi’an high-rise residential area outdoor activity space based on wind environment,and discuss the design method of using space to improve the site wind environment,so as to provide ideas and references for the wind environment design of high-rise residential area outdoor activity space,and make the microclimate design of residential activity space more scientific and comprehensive.
