At present,with the marine safety getting more and more attention,it becomes more and more urgent to monitor the marine environment.People can collect marine environmental data by deploying marine multimedia sensor networks,in which marine video can provide rich monitoring information.Because the special environment at sea has a great influence on the video compression processing,in order to optimize the performance of the compression coding,this thesis studies the compression coding processing of the maritime video.This thesis mainly improves video coding from two aspects of compression rate and computational complexity.First of all,in view of the problem that the image rotation of the marine video is caused by wave fluctuation,which influences the amount of video encoding data,based on the electronic image stabilization technology,this thesis designs a video compression rate optimization research scheme.The motion data collected by the attitude sensor is used to perform rotation compensation on the video image,and retain more image content to obtain a stable video sequence and reduce the amount of data generated by video compression;Secondly,in order to improve the real-time performance of marine video transmission,based on the video coding technology of interest,this thesis designs a coding complexity optimization research scheme,and extracts the Region of Interest(ROI)and non-ROI of video images through the motion data collected by the attitude sensor.In the selection of predictive coding modes for video compression,the allocation of computing resources in different regions is realized,while ensuring the quality of ROI coding,the coding complexity of other regions is reduced,and the purpose of reducing the duration of compression coding is achieved.In this thesis,the feasibility of the proposed scheme is verified on the collected marine video sequences and attitude sensor data,and the comparison with the existing compression coding standard shows the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.At the same time,based on the Qt software platform,this thesis realizes a prototype system of marine video encoding and decoding,demonstrates the scheme of this thesis in practice.
