Research On The Influencing Actors Of China’s Digital Economy Development Based On Panel Data Penalty Quantile Regression

Developing digital economy is a strategic choice to grasp the new opportunities of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.Driven by the central government’s strong deployment,our digital economy has been rapidly developing,and its proportion in the economic structure is constantly rising.To promote high-quality development of the Chinese economy,we must seize the opportunity of developing the digital economy and continue to develop the digital economy so as to enhance innovation and competitiveness of the Chinese economy.The study of factors influencing the development of China’s digital economy in this thesis can not only provide an empirical analysis for the development of China’s digital economy,but also provide some enlightenment for the path of the development of digital economy in various regions.Based on the connotation of digital economy,this thesis firstly constructs the evaluation index system of the development level of China’s digital economy from three aspects: digitalization foundation,digitalization application and digitalization development potential,and uses the comprehensive evaluation method to measure the development level of digital economy in 30 provinces and cities in China.Then,18 influencing factors are selected from eight aspects such as economic growth level,and the panel data penalty quantile regression method is used to analyze the influencing factors of Chinese digital economy.Through the analysis,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The gap between different regions in the level of digital economic development is too large.The level of digital economic development in the eastern region is high,and the level of digital economic development in the western region is low.(2)In three dimensions of digitalization foundation,digitalization application and digitalization development potential,there is also a big gap in the development level of different regions.(3)The level of economic development,human capital,urban development,residents’ living standards,government intervention and industrial structure have a significant impact on China’s digital economy at a relatively low level of development;The level of economic development,human capital,urban development,residents’ living standards,government intervention,industrial structure and innovative development have a significant impact on China’s digital economy,which is at an average or higher level of development.Finally,based on the research results and the development status of China’s digital economy,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions:(1)accelerate the process of digital infrastructure construction;(2)Strengthen the training of digital technical personnel;(3)Strengthening and improving the digital economy governance system.
