| “No.1 central document” for 2023 proposed to build a strong agricultural country,accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,and comprehensively promote the revitalization of the countryside.Shandong has actively responded to the national call to prioritize the development of agriculture and rural areas,accelerate the pace of modernization of agriculture and rural areas,develop special agricultural products,and promote farmers’ incomes.As one of the characteristic agricultural products industries in Yantai,it is important to solve the problem of unbalanced development of production efficiency and effectively analyze and improve the actual production conditions of apple industry in each region of Yantai,for improving the living conditions of local fruit farmers and promoting the green and sustainable development of local apple industry.At present,there are significant differences in industrial efficiency and development status among the nine major apple producing areas in Yantai due to differences in planting technology and scale.This thesis selects the panel data of apple industry in Yantai from 2011 to 2021.The DEA-BCC model,Malmquist index analysis,random effects model and Arc GIS software were used to observe and analyze the spatial-temporal differentiation characteristics and influencing factors of total factor productivity,comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,technological progress rate and scale efficiency of apple industry in Yantai City.The results show that:(1)The productivity of Yantai’s apple industry has been fluctuating dynamically,with total factor productivity in the last eleven years showing an average annual growth rate of 2.7%,which is too slow.(2)In terms of overall efficiency,the western region is the best in comparison,the central and eastern regions have been the second best,and Longkou City in the north has been the worst in comparison,and even Laiyang City in the south has experienced a serious regression.(3)The central and western parts of Yantai have consistently had the highest pure technical efficiency values,followed by the southern and eastern parts of Yantai,and finally the coastal north has had the worst pure technical efficiency.(4)The scale efficiency of the apple industry in Yantai has changed from the best in the west and the worst in the east at the beginning to the worst in the central region and better all around.Each region of Yantai should take different measures to promote the technological and management innovation of the overall apple industry according to its own development,to promote the transformation,quality and efficiency of the apple industry,and the sustainable development of the apple industry.(5)The proportion of apple cultivation scale,urbanization rate,commodity rate and apple price have positive effects on production efficiency of the apple industry in Yantai,while the level of regional development,the literacy level of rural residents and natural disasters have negative effects. |
