The branching fraction of the radiative decay Ds*+→Ds+γ in Particle Data Group(PDG)is B(Ds*+→Ds+γ)=(93.7±0.7)%.This value is obtained by the average of the measurements of BaBar and CLEO experiments. The absolute uncertainty of the branching fraction is up to 0.7%.Precise measurement of the branching fraction of the Ds*+ decay provides importance experimental input for the study of Ds+ decay via the e+e-→Ds*+Ds-reaction chain, and also provide crucial information to validate various theoretical predictions.Using 7.33 fb-1 of e+e-collision data collected with the BESⅢ detector at centerof-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV,we measure the branching fraction of Ds*+→Ds+π0 relative to Ds*+→Ds+γ.The result is B(Ds*+→Ds+π0)/(B(Ds*+→Ds+γ)=(6.16±0.43±0.18)%,where the first error is statistical and the second one is systematic. This result is consistent with the world-average value in PDG but with improved precision.
