| In recent years,with the rapid development of 5G communications,there is an increasing demand for antennas with high gain,low loss,low profile,and low cost.Traditional reflectarray antennas can replace parabolic antennas that are bulky and costly to process.In order to reduce the profile,the folded reflectarray antennas develope along with the trend.In order to realize the folded reflectarray antennas with broadband,high gain,suitable for terahertz frequency band,and easy to integrate with the circuit.This paper mainly studies the following contents:First of all,a planar broadband feed antenna is innovatively designed,which effectively improves the bandwidth performance of the folded reflectarray antenna,thus realizing a broadband,high gain,high aperture surface efficiency,and low-cost single-layer broadband folded reflectarray antenna.It is verified that when the feed antenna and the main reflector are integrated in the same single-layer PCB,a broadband and high-gain folded reflectarray antenna can also be realized.Then,working at 115 GHz oscillator integrated with linear polarization FRA,and working at 140 GHz oscillator integrated with circular polarization FRA are designed respectively.Oscillator wire-bonded with linear polarization feed,and oscillator wire-bonded with circular polarization feed,as well as single reflective unit cell are innovatively designed.Linear polarization FRA using the first part of broadband,high gain open slot antenna as radiation structure of feed.And on-chip oscillator is wire-bonded with the radiation structure,stimulating linear polarization FRA.Circular polarization FRA is wire-bonded with oscillator.The FRA and oscillator chip realize a complete transmitter,and can significantly improve the equivalent omnidirectional radiated power of the transmitter without bulky lens.In addition,the oscillator adopts 0.18 μm CMOS technology,and the main reflector,feed antenna and secondary reflector are all processed by PCB technology,thus realizing the transmitter with low processing cost.Finally,based on the high loss of high-frequency PCB technology,the main reflector is processed by the quartz lithography process with high precision and low loss.Single-layer reflective unit cell is innovatively designed.In addition,compared with the low-cost PCB technology,the gain performance of the folded reflectarray antenna processed by the high-precision,low-loss quartz lithography process has been greatly improved. |
