Land use is an important area of interaction between human activities and the natural environment,with direct or indirect impacts on climate change and carbon emissions.In recent years,with the rapid economic growth of Hubei Province and the continuous increase of population,the impact of human activities on the land ecosystem has also been intensified,and the carrying capacity of the land ecosystem has shown a downward trend.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the temporal and spatial evolution of land use and ecological security in Hubei Province for the effective use of land resources in Hubei Province.Taking Hubei Province as the research object,this paper conducts a study on land use change and land ecological security in the study area,and conducts a comprehensive quantitative analysis of the quantitative changes in the quantity,degree,structure and intensity of land use in Hubei Province from 2010 to 2020,and conducts a profound study on the relationship between land use change and land ecological security.Based on the theory of human-land relationship,sustainable development theory and land ecology,the DPSIR model was constructed from five aspects,a total of 22 evaluation indicators were selected,the entropy weight method and the vertical and horizontal stretching grade method were used to determine the index weight,the comprehensive index of land ecological security from 2010 to 2020 was calculated with the help of TOPSIS model and graded evaluation,the obstacle factors affecting the land ecological security of Hubei Province were analyzed through the obstacle model,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward according to the actual situation of Hubei Province.The main conclusions drawn from the study are as follows:(1)From the perspective of land use change,in terms of land use quantity change,the land use quantity in Hubei Province showed a stable trend on the whole,and the number of various types of land changed slightly;In terms of land use degree change,the comprehensive index of land use degree in Hubei Province showed a slow upward trend,but the rate of improvement decreased.In terms of land use structure change,the main source of construction land transfer is cultivated land,and the main source of cultivated land transfer is forest land;In terms of land use change component,the total land use component of Hubei Province showed an increasing trend.In terms of land use change intensity,the land use intensity in Hubei Province showed an increasing trend.(2)From the perspective of time,from 2010 to 2020,the ecological security of cultivated land in Hubei Province showed an overall upward trend.The composite index increased from0.3941 in 2010 to 0.5893 in 2020,and the safety state increased from the less safe state in 2010 to the safer state in 2020,and the development trend gradually improved.(3)From the perspective of space,the ecological security of cultivated land in most areas of Hubei Province is in a critical security state,and there are certain differences between different regions.The areas with high ecological security level mainly include Wuhan,Yichang,Jingzhou,Xiangyang and other areas,and the cultivated land ecology is in a critical safety state,and the areas with low ecological security level mainly include Huangshi,Xiaogan,Qianjiang and Tianmen,and the cultivated land ecology is in a relatively unsafe state.(4)From the perspective of obstacle factors,the pressure criterion layer showed an overall upward trend,which became the main obstacle factor affecting the ecological security of cultivated land in Hubei Province.The obstacles of the state criterion layer,the influence criterion layer and the response criterion layer showed an overall downward trend,and the obstruction gradually decreased.The obstacles at the index level are mainly population density,per capita arable land area,natural population growth rate,land use degree,and fertilizer use intensity.
