The IP method is an important geophysical method and the main method for the exploration of metallic minerals.The IP transmitter provides an artificial field source for electrical exploration and is an important part of the IP instrument.The quality of the output signal of the transmitter is directly related to the result of the receiver’s acquisition of the signal.At present,it is difficult for an IP transmitter to achieve a balance between transmission power and portability.Therefore,it is of great significance and application value to study an IP transmitter that can transmit medium-power signals and is easy to carry to meet the needs of engineering production.Based on the theory of IP method,this paper formulates the overall design scheme of IP transmitter.The whole transmitter is mainly composed of FPGA control system,power supply module,synchronization and transmission module.The FPGA control system realizes receiving the setting information from the PC,setting the parameters of the power module and the synchronization module at the same time,and uploading the information of the sending system to the PC to control the humancomputer interaction module.The power module converts the external DC input into a bipolar pulse signal through voltage transformation and rectification,and then passes through the MOSFET full-bridge inverter module,output up to 600 V voltage and 5A current,Realize the medium power transmission of the transmitter and expand the detection range of the system.The synchronization and transmission module realizes the synchronization of the acquisition of GPS information with the frequency of the constant temperature crystal oscillator and the receiver,and generates the PWM drive signal set by the transmission module by frequency division,and simultaneously detects the current output waveform of the transmission module and realizes the waveform transmission of the transmitter.The transmitter module takes the analogto-digital converter as the core,and designs circuits such as low-noise preamplifier,double T-notch filter,high-precision reference power supply,low-distortion ADC driver,high-efficiency power supply system,and isolation circuit.Verify the basic functions of the analog circuit by testing the unit modules.The assembled machine is then subjected to indoor and field experiments to analyze and collect data to prove that it meets the design requirements and can be used for actual exploration tasks.
