Disease risk perception changes people’s behaviours, which further afects the disease dynamics.Disease risk perception is afected by communicating with people on the social network.Firstly,we establish an information transmission model for the risk perception of nodes with diferent degrees, and study the situation of this model at the equilibrium point. We fnd that the risk perception of nodes with diferent degrees at the equilibrium point is the same, and this value is related to the degree distribution of the network and the initial risk perception of all nodes. We then extend this model by building a two-layer network to build an information-disease transmission model infuenced by disease dynamics. The frst layer is the social network, where individual risk perception and information transmission take place. The second layer is the contact network, where individual physical contact and disease transmission take place.Regarding the information-disease transmission model,we found that when the speed of information transmission is much faster than the speed of disease transmission, the risk perception of all individuals will tend to the proportion of actual infected persons at present. When the speed of information transmission is similar to that of disease transmission, the risk perception of diferent individuals still tends to the same value, but the risk perception lags behind the real disease dynamics, and the corresponding peak value is lower than that of the real disease. We also investigate the efects of disease risk perception on individual behavior, which may afect disease dynamics by reducing the infection rate or by blocking edges that infection is likely to occur.Under these two efects,we studied the infuence of risk perception on disease dynamics, and mainly studied the infuence of information transmission speed and risk perception coeffcient on the basic reproduction number, peak and fnal size of the disease. We found that the basic reproduction number was not related to the risk perception awareness coeffcient acquired during the epidemic, but was related to the initial awareness coeffcient, and decreased with the increase of the initial awareness coeffcient. In addition,we found that the two efects of consciousness correspond to the same basic reproduction number.Studies of peak and fnal sizes are discussed on scalefree networks and Poisson networks respectively. For scale-free networks, the peak and fnal scale of our model will be larger than that generated by real disease conditions as awareness. For the Poisson network, the conclusion of peak size is the same as that on the scale-free network. For the fnal size, when the information transmission speed is small, the fnal scale of our model will be larger than that generated by real disease as awareness. However, with the increase of the information transmission speed, the fnal scale of the disease corresponding to our model may be lower than that generated by real disease as awareness. For both scalefree networks and Poisson networks,an increase in the risk perception awareness coeffcient reduces the peak and fnal disease size. Finally,we compared the two awareness efects on disease dynamics,we fnd edge-breaking has a larger efect on reducing the fnal size, while reducing the transmission rate has a larger efect on reducing the peak size, which is true for both scale-free and Poisson networks.
