Belt conveyor is the most important modern bulk material conveying equipment.DTII(A)belt conveyor is currently the most widely used belt conveyor.Among them,the redirection drum and tailstock are important components in the equipment.The main function of the reversing roller is to provide steering for the conveyor belt;tighten the conveyor belt with its own weight;And increase the belt tension to ensure the capacity.The frame is used to support the roller to ensure the normal operation of the conveyor belt.Therefore,the failure of the reversing roller and tailstock will destroy the normal operation of the belt conveyor,resulting in its shutdown and even causing serious safety accidents,so this paper analyzes a certain reversing drum with a diameter of1800 mm and a cylinder thickness of 33 mm in a belt conveyor system,and the reversing drum support structural parts based on the reversing drum.With the general 3D drawing software Solid Works as the support platform,a set of automatic drawing software for reversing rollers and tailstock integrating load calculation,component modeling,component assembly,and two-dimensional engineering drawing conversion has been developed.Firstly,based on the transmission theory of belt conveyor,the tension calculation of the conveyor belt is carried out,the structure and classification of the belt conveyor reversing roller and tailstock are summarized,and the force analysis of the reversing roller and tailstock is carried out.Secondly,the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench was introduced,and then the software was used to perform static analysis of the reversing drum to view its stress and deformation results.By setting up a path to simulate the modeling of the weld seam,the simulation analysis of the weld seam was carried out,and the equivalent force clouds at the axial and circumferential weld seams and the stress change curves at the axial and circumferential weld seams during one rotation of the redirected drum were obtained,which laid the foundation for future research at the weld seam of the redirected drum;and the fatigue life of the redirected drum was calculated and optimized using n Code Design Life fatigue analysis software.After that,the finite element analysis software was used to analyze the transient dynamics of the redirected roller support structure.First,the modal analysis of the redirected roller support structure was carried out to obtain the calculated values of the first six orders of modalities,the maximum displacement,and to analyze its vibration characteristics.Next,the kinetic analysis is carried out to analyze the stress and deformation under the starting conditions,summarize the main causes of vibration and give measures to reduce the impact on the conveyor during the starting process.Finally,using the Microsoft SQL Server database management system,the dimensional parameters of the reversing drum and tailstock are established,and they are connected and accessed through VB programming,combined with the functions of VB and Solid Works macro recording,the reversing drum and tailstock and their components are parametrically designed,and finally automatic drawing is realized,which greatly improves the design efficiency.
