| As urbanization continues to develop in China, the contradiction between the economic development of traditional regions and the protection of natural landscapes is increasingly prominent, causing the gradual disintegration of the traditional regional cultural landscape.Addressing the conflict between traditional regional economic development and ecological protection has become a pressing issue in China’s ecological civilization construction process. In recent years, research on the theory of landscape security pattern has been continuously improved, and the evaluation of regional ecological sensitivity and the construction of landscape security patterns have become important ways to alleviate the contradiction between traditional regional economic development and ecological protection,as well as an important proposition in the new stage of ecological civilization construction. This article employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process, with support from DEM data, remote sensing images, and land use data,to evaluate the ecological sensitivity of Huizhou Culture Core Area.On this basis, using the theory of landscape security pattern,it identifies ecological source areas, establishes comprehensive resistance surfaces, extracts landscape ecological corridors, constructs a landscape ecological security pattern, and proposes relevant planning suggestions.Meanwhile, from the perspective of cultural landscape, taking national key cultural relics protection units as the source of cultural landscape heritage,it constructs a cultural landscape heritage resistance surface, extracts cultural heritage corridors and constructs a cultural landscape security pattern. Finally, based on the current ecological security pattern and cultural landscape security pattern,it proposes suggestions and strategies for the future planning and landscape pattern optimization of the Huizhou Culture Core Area. The study has yielded the following conclusions:(1)Ecological sensitivity analysis of the Huizhou Culture Core Area has resulted in the categorization of the area into five levels, namely, areas with very low, low, moderate, high, and very high sensitivity. The areas with the highest ecological sensitivity are primarily located around the national nature reserves, while the areas with the lowest ecological sensitivity are mainly concentrated in Tunxi and Huizhou districts.Areas at the highest and lowest levels represent 1.11% and 11.87% of the total area, respectively, whereas areas of moderate ecological sensitivity comprise the largest portion of the region at41.81%.(2)Through the application of minimum cumulative resistance modeling, the establishment of the current ecological security pattern disclosed that the region requires the establishment of ecological corridors, with the largest area of moderate ecological security comprising approximately 41.06% of the total area.(3)Using landscape security pattern theory,a cultural landscape security pattern has been constructed, incorporating 27 cultural landscape heritage sources from national key cultural relics protection units. The area with highly ecological security is predominant, covering 46.45% of the total area at an extent of 6447.56km~2.Based on these essential findings, strategies and recommendations have been offered to protect source areas, preserve regional corridors, and optimize landscape zones, guiding the Huizhou Culture Core Area towards green and sustainable development while enhancing its traditional territorial landscape environment.Figure 32 table 22 reference 78... |
