| The demand for real-time water level data covers all fields of production and life.It is necessary to realize rapid detection of scenes with rapid changes in water level height.The existing water level detection methods include manual visual inspection of the scale of the water gauge in the monitor,professional water level sensor measurement,etc.However,the impact of the water body in the fluctuating state on the detection accuracy is more serious.The commonly used water level sensors include ultrasonic or radar water level gauge.This kind of water level sensor has the advantages of simple structure,high detection accuracy and strong real-time performance,but waters in fluctuating state has a great impact on the detection accuracy.With the development and application of digital image processing technology,water level detection methods based on image processing technology have been applied in many scenes.Most of them obtain water level information by identifying the scale of water gauge,which has the characteristics of noncontact,high stability and high real-time ability.It has gradually become a research hotspot.However,at present,there are still problems that the scale is easy to be corroded by water and affect the detection accuracy.Thus,a remote water level monitoring system is designed and developed by integrating movable laser and video image processing technology.By extracting and tracking the spot of the moving laser,the moving track of the laser between the back plate and the water surface is detected,so as to find the position of the water level in the image.The actual water level height is calculated according to the system geometry.The water level data(water level height,images,etc.)is transmitted to the server through network transmission technology.Alarm when the detection result exceeds the water level threshold.This system realizes remote real-time monitoring and control.The main research work is as follows:(1)Assemble and select the main hardware,analyze the usage scenario and requirements of each hardware in the water level monitoring system,and determine the selection of embedded processor,camera module,motor module,laser module and communication module.(2)Capture the process video of the laser module irradiating the back plate moving to the water surface.Through the perspective distortion correction,target area extraction,color threshold segmentation,image filtering and morphological processing of the water level image,the spot target in the water level image is extracted and recognized.(3)Improved ASMS algorithm based on the Mean-shift framework is used to extract and track the spot targets in the video.K-means clustering algorithm is applied to determine the track of the direct and reflected spots.Recognize the water level pixel value according to the track of the spot,and calculate with system geometry to obtain actual water level height.Experiments were carried out on the designed water level monitoring system,compared with the artificial visual water gauge method,the float water level gauge method and the identification image water gauge scale method.The results show that the detection error of new method is less than 2.00cm,which proves that the system is insensitive to light intensity,can effectively eliminate interference factors such as instrument corrosion and water fluctuation.The utility model has the advantages of simple structure,convenient installation and good application prospect. |
