Wave glider is a new type of unmanned mobile observation platform on the sea,which uses wave energy to provide kinetic energy and solar energy to provide electric energy.It connects the float with the submerged glider through armored cables to form a twin structure.It has the characteristics of good self-supporting performance and strong carrying capacity,and is widely used in marine science,marine engineering and marine transportation.Wave glider is currently powered only by solar panels.Due to the influence of longitude and latitude,meteorological conditions,day night transformation and other factors,the power supply stability of the solar panel carried by wave glider is affected,and it can only provide about 5W of continuous available power for wave glider in the daytime.Therefore,there is an urgent need for a new way to obtain power for wave glider to solve the problem of continuous energy supply for wave glider.Considering the characteristics and working environment of wave glider,as well as the time-space distribution characteristics of wave energy and solar energy,it is a practical method to use wave energy to generate power for wave glider.The organic combination of the two will effectively solve the problem of continuous power consumption of wave glider.First of all,this paper proposes the linear generator wave glider(LG-WG),and the feasibility of this scheme is verified by wave theory and energy analysis.According to the working characteristics of wave glider,the overall structure of the linear generator wave glider is designed on the basis of the "Black Pearl" medium wave glider.Secondly,the LG-WG is simplified as a double floating body oscillation system,and the dynamic model of the LG-WG is established.Based on this model,the numerical simulation is carried out,the kinematic and mechanical characteristics of the float and the submerged glider under three different limiting angles are analyzed,and the deisgn threshold of the permanent magnet linear generator is obtained based on the use requirements and characteristics of the wave glider.Thirdly,according to the design threshold of the permanent magnet linear generator and the maxwell electromagnetic simulation software,the permanent magnet linear generator suitable for wave glider is designed,and the factors affecting the performance of the linear generator are analyzed.The pole arc coefficient,the width of air gap and the side tooth height are selected as the test factors of orthogonal test,and the optimal design parameters of the permanent magnet linear generator are obtained,and the optimized generator performance is analyzed.Finally,the indoor test verifies that the output of the generator is 3.36 w when the load is 10 Ω and the moving speed of the mover is 0.3m/s.According to the analysis of the sea trial data,the installation of the linear generator has no significant impact on the motion performance of the wave glider,and the output power of the linear generator is1.6W.The sea trial results show that the coupling of wave energy power generation and wave energy drive is feasible.
