The Naban River watershed is located in the border area between Jinghong City and Menghai County,Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province, with a subtropical monsoon climate,a unique geographical area and a complex ecological environment, and the Naban River National Nature Reserve. This ecological region is rich in plant resources and abundant in rain and heat, and contains an extremely rich variety of fungal genera and species resources, but there is a lack of research on the asexual dematiaceous hyphomycetes resources in this ecological region, and systematic investigation and taxonomic research. Therefore,by collecting a wide range of plant specimens from the region, and integrating traditional morphological and molecular phylogenetic taxonomic techniques,a systematic taxonomic study of the dematiaceous hyphomycetes resources in the region and accumulating several strains of fungal resources will be of great taxonomic and resource significance to enrich the mycological list of Yunnan Province and China.Based on the accumulation of previous studies, more than 1200 plant specimens were collected from many different habitats and vegetation types in the Naban River watershed, such as Mandian,Guomen Mountain,Jiangbian,Banggang, and Mengsong, etc. After indoor specimen processing, biological slide production and strain isolation and purification, based on strain morphology,or comprehensive strain ITS,LSU,SSU,TEF1 and RPB2 and other multi-gene sequence analysis,we systematically carried out this the diversity of dematiaceous hyphomycetes genera and species in the region was studied systematically, and 16 genera and 28 species of asexual dematiaceous hyphomycetes were described and identified, including 2 new genera,17 new species, and 11 reported species in China. The morphological description, host information and geographical distribution of each species were briefly described, and the morphological characteristics distinguishing them from similar genera and species were briefly discussed, and the morphological and molecular systematics were combined with the polygenic sequence information of some strains to make a more accurate taxonomic identification and evaluation. Two new genera: Apicheirospora Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang,R.F.Casta(?)eda &Jian Ma,Porosynnema Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang,R.F.Casta(?)eda & Jian Ma.Seventeen taxa are new species. They are Apicheirospora sinensis Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang,R.F.Casta(?)eda & Jian Ma,Catenularia yunnanensis Jing W.Liu,Jian Ma & R.F.Casta(?)eda,Corynespora chinensis Jing W.Liu,Jian Ma,R.F.Casta(?)eda &X.G.Zhang,C.mengsongensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,C.nabanheensis Jing W.Liu& Jian Ma,C.yunnanensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,Distoseptispora mengsongensis Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang & Jian Ma,D.nabanheensis Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang & Jian Ma,D.sinensis Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang & Jian Ma,Fuscocatenula nabanhensis Jing W.Liu,Jian Ma & R.F.Casta(?)eda,F.chinensis Jing W.Liu,Jian Ma & R.F.Casta(?)eda,Helminthosporium nabanhensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,H.sinensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,H.yunnanensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,Kirschsteiniothelia nabanheensis Jing W.Liu & Jian Ma,Porosynnema catenatum Jing W.Liu,X.G.Zhang,R.F.Casta(?)eda & Jian Ma,Zasmidium sinense Jing W.Liu,Jian Ma,X.G.Zhang & R.F.Casta(?)eda.Eleven Chinese known species. They are Acrodictys globulosa(Tóth)M.B.Ellis,A.liputii L.Cai & K.D.Hyde,A.porosiseptata G.Z.Zhao,Sporidesmina malabarica Subram.& Bhat,Kavaka,Sporidesmium fragilissimum(Berk.& M.A.Curtis)M.B.Ellis,S.rhaphidophorae K.Zhang & X.G.Zhang,S.tropicale M.B.Ellis,Synnemacrodictys stilboidea(J.Mena & Mercado)W.A.Baker & Morgan-Jones,Triposporium foliicola Gamundí,Aramb.& Giaiotti,Vamsapriya yunnana H.B.Jiang,Phookamsak & K.D.Hyde,Xiuguozhangia punicae(K.Zhang & X.G.Zhang)K.Zhang & R.F.Casta(?)eda.In summary, the results of the systematic survey of asexual dematiaceous hyphomycetes in the region show that the ecological region has rich fungal genera and species resources, and the related research not only enriches the content of mycological resources in China and the world, but also provides an important reference basis for further research on the systematic classification of other fungal taxa in the region, which is of great scientific significance for the conservation of biodiversity in the region.
