Aspatiotemporal Study On The Coordinated Development Of High-Quality Urbanization And Resource Environmental Carrying Capacity

The urbanization process in China is constantly advancing,with a national urbanization rate of 65.22% by 2022.Yunnan Province is in a rapid stage of urbanization development,with a urbanization rate of 51.72% by 2022.The population is constantly gathering in cities,and the number and scale of cities are constantly expanding.However,with the continuous development of urbanization,the pressure on resources and environment is also increasing,and even a series of resource and environmental problems have emerged: increasingly serious soil erosion The resources of Forest steppe are sharply reduced,water resources are seriously lacking,biodiversity is damaged,and urban pollution is serious.The increasingly scarce resources and serious environmental problems have become bottlenecks that constrain the further and high-quality development of urbanization in Yunnan Province.Therefore,breaking the resource environment bottleneck and promoting the coordinated development of urbanization and resource environment carrying capacity have important theoretical and practical significance for achieving human land coordination,harmonious coexistence,and sustainable social development throughout Yunnan Province.Based on the spatio-temporal view of geography,guided by the theory of sustainable development and coordinated development,this study combs relevant literature,selects Yunnan Province as the carrier of spatial research,selects and constructs the indicator system and evaluation method of coordinated development of high-quality urbanization development and resource and environment carrying capacity,and comprehensively uses the method system dominated by ArcGIS spatial analysis,coupling coordination model,synchronization model,etc,Exploring the spatiotemporal situation of the coordinated development of high-quality urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity in Yunnan Province from the state and city levels,and proposing targeted suggestions for the coordinated development of high-quality urbanization and resource environmental carrying capacity,in order to provide ideas and directions for Yunnan Province to further achieve high-quality leapfrog development.The research conclusion is as follows:(1)The high-quality development of urbanization in Yunnan Province is showing an overall upward trend;The carrying capacity of resources and environment in most areas of Yunnan Province is on the rise.From the perspective of the state and city levels,the high-quality development of urbanization is on the rise,with Kunming developing the best and spreading outward from Kunming;The development of resource and environmental carrying capacity varies,with the vast majority of states and cities showing an upward trend and the gap narrowing.The best is the northwest region of Yunnan,which is quite stable and constantly expanding in regional scope.The development of the central region of Yunnan is relatively slow,while the resource and environmental conditions of other states and cities continue to improve.(2)The level of high-quality urbanization development and coordinated development of resource and environmental carrying capacity in Yunnan Province is on the rise,and the coordination level is at a relatively low level.From the perspective of states and cities,the improvement in coordinated development level in most states and cities is not significant,and the differences between states and cities are relatively small;The areas with the best level of coordinated development are concentrated in central and northwest Yunnan,and the development trend is manifested as Kunming developing towards the east,south,and northwest.The overall performance of the province is a transition from mild imbalance to near imbalance,with only some states and cities crossing over to a barely coordinated state.The level of coordinated development urgently needs to be improved,and most states and cities are in a near imbalance state.The barely coordinated states and cities are mainly distributed in Kunming City,Qujing City,Honghe Prefecture,Lijiang City,and Diqing Prefecture.(3)The synchronization between the high-quality development of urbanization and the development of resource and environmental carrying capacity in Yunnan Province is poor,and the resource and environmental carrying capacity is superior to the high-quality development of urbanization.The synchronization between the high-quality development of urbanization and the development of resource and environmental carrying capacity in Yunnan Province.The vast majority of states and cities are lagging behind in the high-quality development of urbanization and the development of resource and environmental carrying capacity,that is,in the lagging type of high-quality development of urbanization;The synchronous development type has not formed a clear sustained state;The scope and frequency of lagging resource and environmental carrying capacity in the province are relatively small,mainly including Kunming City,Qujing City,and Yuxi City.
