With the intensification of global warming,extreme weather and abnormal climate have increased around the world,among which heavy rainfall weather is a key factor in triggering sudden geological disasters such as landslides and mudslides.Timely and accurate measurement of rainfall is of great significance to the precursor warning of landslide disasters,which can reduce the losses caused by disaster accidents.Rainfall meter is a common rainfall measuring instrument in meteorological departments,and the existing rainfall meters have certain limitations in terms of measuring accuracy,usage conditions and measuring principles.In view of the shortcomings of the current existing rainfall measuring devices,this paper improves on the basis of the traditional siphon rainfall meter and designs a siphon drainage self-compensating rainfall measuring device based on the load cell in combination with the weighing measurement method.The main work of this paper is as follows.(1)This paper describes the working principle of the siphon drainage self-compensating rainfall measurement device.In view of the measurement errors arising from the siphoning of traditional siphon rain gauges,this paper establishes a high-precision siphon compensation mathematical model,which eliminates the measurement errors caused by rainfall with siphon drainage.(2)A weak signal acquisition system is designed for load cell signals,including tiny signal amplification circuit,analog-to-digital conversion circuit,wireless transmission circuit,temperature measurement circuit,power management circuit,and microcontroller minimal system.In order to realize online real-time monitoring of rainfall data,this paper integrates industrial Internet of Things technology and Lo Ra wireless tran smission technology to develop a set of precision online monitoring system,which can observe rainfall data in the server and host computer.(3)In this paper,the design of the mechanical structure of the siphon drainage self-compensating rainfall measurement device is completed according to the functional requirements of the rainfall meter.Considering that the device needs to work for a long time in the field environment for rainfall monitoring,solar panels and rechargeable batteries are used to continuously provide energy for the device,which ensures that the device works stably in the field environment for a long time.(4)In this paper,the experimental validation of the siphon compensation algorithm is carried out by the developed siphon drainage self-compensating rainfall measurement device using the simulated rainfall experimental platform.The experimental results show that the siphon compensation algorithm improves the rainfall measurement accuracy and the rainfall measurement error range of the device is within 1%.Finally,in order to test the working performance of the device,a comparison experiment was done with the existing rainfall meter in a real rainfall environment,which showed that the device has stable performance and meets the design and use requirements.
