| With the development of society,environmental issues are one of the key concerns of the current society.Environmental destruction has led to a large number of endangered or disappeared plants.However,people are surrounded by a large amount of information every day and have little understanding of the importance of endangered plants.Nowadays,ordinary text information transmission is difficult to meet the needs of the audience.As a new popular science communication medium,information visualization provides people with new ways to quickly accept and understand information.This article takes the endangered aquatic plants in the South China Botanical Garden as the research object.The first part describes the research background and current situation at home and abroad of the information visualization design of the endangered plants in the South China Botanical Garden.The second part investigates and analyzes the situation of the internal medicine popularization in the garden and the audience’s understanding of the science popularization to prove the necessity of the research on this topic.The third part analyzes and studies the information visualization of endangered aquatic plants in the South China Botanical Garden,and divides their population structure from ecological types.Based on the above situation,the fourth part takes the emotional three-level theory as the theoretical basis,establishes strategies from the instinctive,behavioral,and reflective levels,and proposes strategic goals to enhance design aesthetic literacy,increase cognitive information carrying,and improve information transmission efficiency.Finally,taking the endangered aquatic plants of the South China Botanical Garden as a design practice,it is applied to the aquatic plant park of the South China Botanical Garden.Combining the theoretical basis,visual information and visual design are combined to present the endangered aquatic plant information of the South China Botanical Garden in a more concise,direct and novel manner,in order to improve the science popularization of endangered plants and enhance people’s awareness of protection. |
