| 1319 nm laser with special spectral characteristics,high power and excellent beam quality which has a extremely broad development prospect in biomedical,beacon light source,color display,optical communication and other fields.The objective of this paper is to obtain a 1319 nm laser with high optical-optical conversion efficiency and good beam quality.All of this through analyzing the thermal lens effect and cavity mode of crystal,the shaping optical path of the pump light was designed and optimized rationally,and the construction of a stable cavity and a hybrid cavity for the LD part of the end-pumped pump slabs(Innoslab)was completed.Finally,a favorable 1319 nm continuous laser output is obtained.The main research contents are as follows:1.The research work of 1319 nm lasers in recent years is reviewed,and a brief introduction to the classification and characteristics of slab lasersand.The research work of 1319 nm lasers in recent years is reviewed,and the classification and characteristics of slatted lasers are briefly introduced.2.The pump source and gain medium used in the experiment are briefly introduced and analyzed.The pump shaping system of Innoslab is designed and simulated with Zemax.As well as the thermal lensing effect of the slatted crystal and the optimal transmittance of the resonant cavity are analyzed.3.The flat-concave stable resonant cavity was designed and built,and the calculation of the thermal lens and cavity mode was completed,and the correspondence between the cavity mode and the thermal lens was successfully simulated when the resonant cavity was determined.A single-frequency continuous wave output of 1319 nm was achieved and the output characteristics of the obtained continuous wave were investigated by using a 4-bar 808 nm laser diode partially end-pumped with an Nd:YAG slab crystal of size 24 mm×12 mm×1 mm.A stable laser output of up to 24.33 W was obtained with a slope efficiency of about 22.3%and an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of about 10.58% at the pump power of230 W.4.Based on the stable cavity,the Innoslab 1319 nm laser was designed and built,and the experimental thermal lens effects and cavity modes were analyzed.Two 3 bar 808 nm laser diode arrays with the size of 24 mm×12 mm×1 mm were used to partially pump Nd:YAG lath crystals with the size of 24 mm×12 mm×1mm.The single frequency cw output at 1319 nm was realized and the cw output characteristics were investigated.A stable laser output of up to 56 W was obtained at a pump power of 438 W,with a slope efficiency of about 23.64% and an optical-tooptical conversion efficiency of about 12.79%.The beam quality factors in both horizontal and vertical directions at low power were 1.07 and 1.33,respectively. |
