In order to observe the migratory movement of birds,the researchers prefer to use cameras on their bodies,but in practice there are problems such as excessive camera shaking,weak lenses and circuits without protection,and no waterproof treatment for electronic devices.These factors directly affect the sustainability of migratory images.In order to solve the above problems,choose the right system,make a reasonable matching plan,personalized design of the bird head camera platform,as well as the back of the battery and circuit board platform,choose the best waterproof method to achieve the bird head and back at the same time.The contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The overall scheme of the migratory bird migration image collection system was designed;To study the phenomenon of “pigeon nodding”,using the bird’s head as the carrying part of the system;The pigeon was used as the carrier of this research,and the bearing capacity of the pigeon head and back is tested.At the same time,the carrying scheme of the system is determined.(2)The pigeon model is built with the help of Geomagic Studio and other software.The pigeon model is used as reference,and two head-carrying platforms and two back-carrying platforms are designed.(3)Through CFD numerical simulation,the state of the platform was simulated when the pigeon was flying.Based on the drag coefficient,a platform was selected in the head and back.Using ANSYS Workbench software,this paper selects three conditions faced by pigeons when they fly,analyzes and compares the stress and deformation of the loading platform under each condition.(4)The mounting platform was printed by the fused deposition molding method,and the electronic devices were waterproof and encapsulated.It was proved through experiments that the waterproof scheme could reach the level 7 waterproof standard.Finally,the assembled migratory bird migration image collection system was mounted on the live adult pigeons to complete the pigeon carrying flight experiments.
