As a supplement to the traditional formation inclination logging technology,3D induction logging can be developed into an effective formation inclination logging method. On the basis of 3D induction logging data processing and combining with continuous dip logging data,a new 3D induction dip measurement method is established in this paper.Firstly, the dip Angle, azimuth Angle and spin Angle measured by dip log are defined according to the description of the spatial distribution of formation layer.Based on the combination of three dimensional induction logging instrument and inclinometer the coordinate transformation relationship between the induction instrument and the inclinometer can be obtained. The conversion relationship between the inclinometer and the geographic coordinate system is obtained according to the data of continuous inclinometer logging.According to the three-dimensional induction logging data processing, the transformation relationship between the instrument coordinate system and the stratigraphic coordinate system is obtained.Based on the relationship between the stratigraphic coordinate system, the geographic coordinate system, the instrument coordinate system and the clinometer coordinate system, the transformation between the stratigraphic coordinate system and the geographic coordinate system is established. Then, the Euler Angle is obtained through the coordinate transformation matrix of the stratigraphic coordinate system and the geographic coordinate system, and the formation dip Angle and azimuth Angle are determined. The principle of 3D induction dip logging is explained and the processing flow of 3D induction dip logging data is summarized step by step.Secondly, based on the uniaxial anisotropic resistivity model, the resistivity parameters and instrument direction Angle parameters of the corresponding uniaxial anisotropic medium model of formation resistivity were extracted by 9 components of three-dimensional induction logging, and the inclination response characteristics of three-dimensional induction instrument were analyzed. Then, the apparent value conversion process of three-dimensional induction instrument inclination extraction was proposed.A method for extracting apparent value of instrument dip Angle in uniform uniaxial anisotropic formation model is established. Finally, based on the plane stratification stratigraphic model, the cross-component combination response curve is established, and the response characteristics of 3D induction instrument logging at the boundary are analyzed. The graph method of dip Angle extraction at the boundary is proposed, and the inversion method of the two-layer model of dip Angle extraction at the boundary surface based on Gauss Newton algorithm is established.
