A Study On The Spatial Spillover Effect Of Rural Tourism Resources On Tourism Flow

Under the background of China’s continuous promotion of industrial structure and economic upgrading and development,regional rural tourism cooperation is an important mode to achieve high-quality and sustainable development of tourism by virtue of the spatial complementarity of rural tourism resources,spatial continuity of tourist activities,and regional cultural relevance.However,in this process,it is inevitable that the unreasonable development of rural tourism resources will lead to the homogenization of resource construction,the damage of ecological environment,the insufficient bearing capacity of rural areas,and the excessive regional competition.Therefore,we should reasonably plan the development and construction of rural tourism resources from the perspective of regional integration and industrial characteristics,explore the key to converging tourism flows,clarify regional tourism cooperation conditions,and achieve win-win cooperation in regional rural tourism.This study aims to achieve the aggregation of regional tourism flows and the sustainable development of rural tourism resources,and conducts research on relevant data of county units in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Anhui from 2010 to 2019.Firstly,based on the perspective of the county,a scientific indicator system for rural tourism resources is constructed,mainly using factor analysis and entropy weight methods to test and evaluate the indicators,extract principal components,and identify their importance;Secondly,the Moran index is used to explore the spatial correlation between tourism flow and rural tourism resources within a county,as well as the spatial agglomeration changes of each county unit;Finally,using spatial econometric models,the effects are decomposed into direct,indirect,and total effects to analyze the impact of rural tourism resources on tourism flow.Empirical research shows that "resource endowment" is a key factor in rural tourism resources,and the weight of "facility construction" is relatively low.The tourism flow and rural tourism resources showed a significant positive spatial correlation on the global Moran test between 2010 and 2019;The differentiation between high high and low agglomeration of tourism flow in spatial agglomeration is significant,and its development is easily influenced by the promotion or inhibition of neighboring areas.The spatial agglomeration distribution of rural tourism resources is mainly driven by high-level regional demonstration.The ecological environment,economic conditions,facility construction,and resource endowment have a significant positive impact on tourism flow in both direct and spillover effects,indicating that improving rural tourism resources in various regions can not only promote the development of their own tourism flow,but also promote the development of tourism flow in neighboring areas by affecting their rural tourism resources.According to the research results,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)The development of rural tourism resources needs to take into account the concept core and key elements of sustainable development of resources;(2)Make full use of the spatial correlation,maintain and strengthen the advantages and demonstration leading effect of high-level areas of tourism flow and rural tourism resources,and promote the common development of regional rural tourism industry;(3)Break the regional restrictions on investment in rural tourism resources,plan resource construction from the perspective of regional cooperation,improve tourism flow and promote the development of rural tourism industry.
