In recent years, the prominent problems of urban climate and environment have made urban ventilation significantly improve the climate quality.Among them, the mountains and waters within the city,as a ventilation compensation space at the regional scale, play a crucial role in improving the wind environment in the built-up areas of the city in summer.Fully utilize existing mountain and water resources, deeply guide and control the internal spatial form of the city, promote the optimization of the wind environment at the regional scale, and ensure that the urban ventilation benefits are directly perceived by people in the urban space. To address the lack of exploration on the implementation and application of ventilation optimization measures in current research, this article’s goal is to investigate how wind environment optimization and urban design might work together from the viewpoint of urban landscape aspects that share similar spatial carriers and guiding components with urban ventilation. On the basis of clarifying the theory and application value of collaborative planning between the two, this paper analyzes the impact of spatial control elements associated with landscape observation on the wind environment, and proposes an urban design framework and guidance strategy for their collaboration.A case study on the spatial form guiding of urban areas with collaborative ventilation environment and landscape observation is undertaken from macro, medium, and micro levels using the Wuchang Zhongnan Road Zhongbei Road and adjacent Shanshui area as an example. With limited urban landscape resources and less consumption of resources needed for renewal and building,in order to improve the landscape and ventilation conditions of the urban built environment as much as feasible and enhance the quality of the urban living environment. The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The urban landscape and urban ventilation optimization have collaborative planning elements, and the collaborative process has similar guidance mechanisms and elements. The collaborative process between the two can be carried out on the basis of complying with their respective original planning logic;Through practical case analysis,it was found that there are common obstacles to ventilation and landscape at both the urban area and block levels, and there are practical problems within the urban area that can be solved through collaborative planning between the two. Therefore,it is determined that collaborative planning research has theoretical feasibility value and practical application value.(2)Analyze the impact of four and nine types of landscape spatial control elements on the wind environment in the Shanshui area. The following spatial forms are conducive to optimizing the wind environment inside the city: scattered layout of high-rise buildings, symmetrical layout along both sides of the air duct, row and column layout with small aspect ratio and windward depth;Skyline design with multiple levels and quantities;Buildings with a smaller aspect ratio and fewer podiums in the windward direction; The larger aspect ratio of the air duct space; The high wire bonding rate of the air duct building interface;Layout on both sides of the open space at the air duct vent or on one side in the direction of air flow; The open space inside the block is connected to the edge of the block facing the wind.(3)Analyzed the research dimensions, research elements, and planning models of ventilation and landscape synergy planning, and constructed a collaborative urban design framework and guiding techniques were built from the macro, medium, and micro levels.Determine the position of panoramic views based on the wind direction and the trend of changing building heights in the region at the macro level of height control, and then reverse the ventilation requirements based on the control content of panoramic views on building height.Throughout the process, pay attention to the neighborhood’s overall trend in height change as well as the structure of high-rise buildings; The collaborative planning corridor site is pre-selected based on the wind direction at the mid level corridor layout level, and the final corridor layout form is determined after the current situation is verified. The process pays attention to the architectural interface shape and open space distribution inside the corridor; At the micro element guidance level, based on aesthetic principles and combined with ventilation strategies, the block is renovated.Referring to the comparison results of ventilation simulation before and after the renovation, the next step of scheme optimization is carried out, focusing on the width of the building, the distribution of the skyline, and the way open space is connected.(4)Conduct a case study on collaborative planning of typical mountainous areas in Wuhan, taking the area along Zhongnan Road to Zhongbei Road and surrounding areas as an example.Starting from macro, medium, and micro levels, conduct case studies on height pattern control, collaborative corridor layout, and collaborative element guidance of the area along the mountain block.
