In real lives, people have realized that improving the disease prevention awareness can greatly reduce the disease spreading. In order to further quantitatively analyze the impact of awareness dissemination on disease spreading, the scientific community has established two-layer networks which consists of a virtual communication layer and a physical contact layer to simulate the coupled transmission process of awareness and disease. However, with the rapid development of human society, the previous coupled transmission models for awareness and disease in two-layer networks can no longer accurately and comprehensively describe the coupled transmission process of awareness and disease. Therefore, this paper aims at some new features of awareness dissemination and disease spreading in real lives, combined with Microscopic Markov Chain Approach(MMCA)to explore the impact of awareness dissemination on disease spreading in two-layer networks. The main contributions of this paper are as follows.(1)This paper considers four new features in awareness dissemination and disease spreading, including the desalination effect of unaware individuals on aware individuals, the activity of the individual in the virtual communication layer, the propaganda of the awareness caused by the mass media and asymptomatic infected individuals with the ability to spread the disease. Then,a novel two-layer network model HTUA-SI~aI~sR(i.e.Hesitant-Taken-Unaware-Aware-Susceptible-Asymptomatic-Symptomatic-Recovered)with mass media has been proposed in this paper. The MMCA equation is obtained for this model,as well as the analytical expression of disease transmission threshold of this model.(2)In real lives, almost each individual has adaptive adjustment mechanism named"seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages".Meantime, the virus remained in surroundings also play an important role in strengthening the disease spreading.Based on these two aspects mentioned above, this paper presents a new two-layer network model a UAU-s SIR(i.e.adaptive-Unaware-Aware-surrounding-Susc eptible-Infected-Recovered).Then,the corresponding MMCA equation of this model is achieved,as well as the mathematical expression of disease transmission threshold of this model.(3)For the two newly two-layer network models proposed above, the feasibility and effectiveness of MMCA theoretical analysis are verified by Monte Carlo(MC)simulations. Moreover,a large number of numerical simulations show that:(i)The awareness dissemination can inhibit disease spreading;(ii)Properly controlling individual activity, reducing the desalination effect of unaware individuals on aware individuals, strengthening the publicity of mass media on awareness and reducing asymptomatic infection can promote the awareness dissemination and suppress the disease spreading;(iii)Decreasing the adaptive regulatory factors and surrounding reinforcement factors will increase the disease transmission threshold and block the disease spreading.
