With the rapid development of national economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,the catering industry has achieved rapid development,and the ensuing environmental pollution problem has gradually become prominent.The large amount of cooking fume emission has gradually become one of the main causes of urban haze and other severe weather.Therefore,the prevention and control of cooking fume has become one of the important works in the field of environmental protection in China.At present,for a variety of filter material treatment of cooking fume research and filter material combined with other methods of joint treatment of oil fume research gradually began to attract people’s attention.Using the filter material for the front end of the filtering treatment,and then combined with ultraviolet photodecomposition technology to deepen the treatment is one of the oil fume treatment methods.In this paper,the filter material using non-woven cloth,carbon cloth,glass fiber,activated modified sepiolite,molecular sieve and composite filter material,activated sepiolite using sepiolite original acid activation treatment,preparation of modified activated sepiolite,At the same time,the activated sepiolite and molecular sieve were analyzed by Specific Surface Area Method(BET),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS).The other filter materials were made of commonly used products in the market.In this paper,by building an experimental platform,the preparation of filter reactor,the commonly used non-woven cloth,carbon cloth,glass fiber,activated modified sepiolite,molecular sieve and composite filter material filtration performance was studied.The experiment mainly tested the filter efficiency,filter resistance,oil capacity,quality factor of four filter performance indicators,studied the filter wind speed,the tilt angle of the filter material,the thickness of the filter material on the filter performance,compared the performance of the filter material under different cooking methods.The results showed that the overall filtration performance of glass fiber,activated modified sepiolite and molecular sieve was better than that of non-woven cloth and carbon cloth.The composite filter material of molecular sieve combined with glass fiber had the best filtration performance.The weighted filtration efficiency of oil fume particles can reach 97.898%,the filtration resistance was9.757×10-2 k Pa,and the quality factor was 102.073 k Pa-1.The oil capacity per unit resistance was 6.439 g/(m2·Pa).The prefilter material was glass fiber combined with molecular sieve compound filter material,combined with UV photohydrolysis technology to treat three volatile organic pollutants such as formaldehyde,acetaldehyde and acrolein in cooking fume.The results showed that the degradation effect of three kinds of target pollutants was very significant.The detection data of formaldehyde,acetaldehyde and acrolein were352.077μg·m-3,1237.646μg·m-3,330.919μg·m-3,respectively.The concentrations of the three kinds of organic pollutants in the treated gas were reduced to 0.554μg·m-3,1.589μg·m-3,0.831μg·m-3,respectively,which all met the national emission standards.
