Magnesium alloy is the lightest metal structural material with excellent properties such as high specific strength,high specific stiffness,good damping capacity and good machinability,and is widely used in automotive,aerospace,military and other fields.When magnesium alloys are used as potential sports parts and structural parts,friction and wear will inevitably occur on themselves or with the outside world,which seriously affects the life and reliability of components.At present,the study of friction and wear behavior has become an important direction of magnesium alloys.The rapid development of global industrialization has caused severe environmental problems,among which acid rain is the direct result of air pollution.When magnesium alloy is applied to the bearing parts,baffles and other components of the car body,acid rain can easily cause corrosion to the car body.When the car body is in contact with a hard object,corrosion and wear will inevitably occur.At present,the interaction mechanism of corrosion and wear of magnesium alloy under acid rain conditions is not well understood.In order to better study the effect of alloying elements on the corrosion and wear resistance of magnesium alloy,it is imperative to carry out research on binary magnesium alloy.Considering the composition and comprehensive properties of commercial magnesium alloy,the alloy addition amount of 3wt.% is selected in this paper.Therefore,this paper selects four binary magnesium alloys,Mg-3Zn,Mg-3Al,Mg-3Si and Mg-3Ca,as the research objects.First,the corrosion behavior of binary magnesium alloy under tap water and acid rain conditions is studied.The effects of four alloying elements on the corrosion properties of pure magnesium were analyzed in terms of rate,corrosion surface and corrosion product morphology,which laid the foundation for the research on corrosion and wear of binary magnesium alloy under acid rain.Secondly,the friction and wear behaviors of binary magnesium alloy under dry friction,water lubrication and acid rain lubrication were studied,and the friction and wear mechanisms of binary magnesium alloys under different working conditions were discussed,in order to study the corrosion and wear interaction of magnesium alloy under acid rain conditions and lay a theoretical foundation.Finally,the research on the interaction of corrosion and wear is carried out,and the corrosion and wear mechanism of binary magnesium alloy under different working conditions is described,which provides a theoretical basis for the application of magnesium alloy in corrosive media.The research of this paper will provide a theoretical basis for corrosion and wear of magnesium alloy,provide technical support for the selection and application of lightweight materials under different friction conditions,and also play a certain role in the reliability and life extension of magnesium alloy products.
