With the rapid development of industrialization in China,people of metal materials and engineering in daily life has become increasingly strict,stainless steel,aluminum alloy,titanium alloy and other metal increasingly extensive application,since the traditional processing method is not ideal when cutting difficult metal,and abrasive water jet machining technology is also a lot of limitations,In this paper,the experimental study of low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting metal is carried out.Before the research route is first analyzed theoretically the mechanism of mixed abrasive water jet cutting process,to explore the changes on the physical properties of the metal material at low temperature,theory combined with practice puts forward two kinds of low temperature processing methods,one is cold immersion method,the target material immersed in liquid nitrogen cooling,before with general method of mixed abrasive water jet cutting,2 it is platform cut method,The low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting platform is set up for cutting.Then low temperature auxiliary abrasive jet cutting experimental research,304 stainless steel,2024-T351 aluminum alloy and TC4 titanium alloy design single factor test,304 stainless steel,430 stainless steel design orthogonal test,explore the effect of low temperature auxiliary abrasive jet cutting of different metals and the primary and secondary influencing factors.The low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting platform is built for practical engineering.Finally,the simulation of low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting is carried out to verify the main influencing factors and prove the feasibility of the selected parameters.The test results show that:1)Low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting method can greatly reduce the cutting pressure of different metal materials.2)Single factor test results show that the optimal scheme of 304 stainless steel is:cutting pressure 35 MPa,temperature-50℃,the optimal scheme of TC4 titanium alloy is: cutting pressure 30 MPa,temperature-50℃,2024-T351 aluminum alloy is: The cutting pressure is 15 MPa,the temperature is 20℃,the experiment proves that low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting 304 stainless steel,TC4 titanium alloy has a good effect,and 2024-T351 aluminum alloy cutting effect is not significant.3)Orthogonal tests prove that for metal materials with high strength and hardness,whether it is a metal material with low temperature brittleness in the body center cubic lattice,or a metal material with low temperature brittleness in the face center cubic lattice or a dense row hexagonal lattice,the low temperature auxiliary abrasive water jet cutting can play a good role in it.And for low temperature auxiliary cutting,the most influential factor is the temperature,the parameters to obtain the optimal test results are the pressure of 35 MPa,the material selection of 304 stainless steel,and the temperature of-168℃.4)The test results of the platform cutting method are very consistent with the single factor test results of the dipping method at-50℃.The cutting effect of 304 stainless steel and TC4 titanium alloy is relatively ideal,which has a certain practical engineering application value.Figure [42] Table [28] Reference [80]...
