The Application Of Red-yellow Plants Dyeing In Household Textiles Design

With the development and progress of society,people’s living standards at home have been further improved.Under the situation of coordinated development of nature,economy and society,increasing numbers of people pay attention to the concept of environmental protection,health and green life.As an excellent traditional culture of China,plant dyeing,which is taken from nature and used for nature,is in line with people’s pursuit of environmental protection,health,and a simple and natural life attitude.Based on this,the author’s research interest in plant dyeing in household textiles has been aroused.Yellow and red are relatively common and easy-to-obtain colors among plant dyes.For in-depth research on the application of bicolor plant dyes in household textiles,this project was carried out.Based on the interactions between dyes,red and yellow plant dyes were used,combing with different techniques.Aiming at the application of red-yellow plant dyeing in household textiles,In this paper,case analysis method,experiment method,questionnaire method and design practice method were carried out.Firstly,the color culture and research value of red and yellow vegetable dyes were introduced,and the design cases of red and yellow vegetable dyes in different application fields were analyzed.Secondly,the red and yellow vegetable dyes were introduced and the dyeing experiments were conducted on hematoxylin and turmeric.Through the analysis of experimental data and color sample effect,the feasibility of hematoxylin and turmeric dyeing process was clarified.In addition,according to the application and development of red and yellow plant dyeing technology,with the help of questionnaires,consumers’ opinions on the types of green and environmentally friendly plant dyeing used in household textile products were analyzed,including dyeing process and design style.This and collaborated with relevant literature to provide application ideas for series design.Finally,based on the analysis of preliminary experiments and questionnaire results,and the design characteristics of its colors and patterns,the red-yellow dyed household textiles were designed with the theme of "returning to the essence of life",followed by social evaluation and the law summary.Last but not the least,the deep purpose of this project is to provide a systematic and academic reference for the application of red and yellow plant dyeing in household textile products,and a theoretical basis and design idea for following researchers and designers in this field,looking for the combination of traditional and modern crafts and endowing red and yellow plant dyeing with more artistic charm.
