Boundary Delimitation Of Shennongjia National Park Based On Ecosystem Authenticity And Integrity

Under the policy background,China’s National Park spatial planning continues to promote development.By 2021,China has officially established the first batch of national parks such as Sanjiangyuan,Wuyi Mountain,Hainan tropical rain forest and giant panda.Boundary delimitation is the primary and important link of National Park spatial planning.At present,the planning and construction of national parks in China is in its infancy and has not formed a set of objective technical standards.Therefore,the main purpose of this paper is to build an objective and scientific national park boundary delimitation index system and form a set of operable boundary delimitation technology.Taking Shennongjia forest area as the research object,this paper constructs the national park boundary delimitation index system from the perspective of ecosystem authenticity and ecosystem integrity by using the research methods of literature research,assignment score and AHP analytic hierarchy process.Through GIS spatial analysis,Max Ent model,marxan model,invest model and other methods,the priority area of ecosystem authenticity with the highest ecosystem authenticity,the priority area of biological habitat with the highest integrity of ecosystem structure and process,and the priority area of ecosystem service with the highest integrity of ecosystem function are finally identified.Based on the three priority areas identified above,three boundary schemes of Shennongjia National Park are defined from different starting points.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The overall ecosystem authenticity of Shennongjia forest area is good,and there are few areas with high ecosystem authenticity,accounting for only 8.61% of the total area of Shennongjia forest area.With a total area of 278km2,it is mainly distributed in shennongding,jinhou ridge,Laojun Mountain,Dajiu Lake,tianchiya,Toudaogou and sheared ya,providing a reference basis for the delimitation of the boundary of Shennongjia National Park.(2)The resources of umbrella species,flagship species and rare and endangered species in Shennongjia forest area are very rich.In this paper,the priority areas of biological habitat are identified through marxan model,which provides a reference basis for the subsequent boundary delimitation of Shennongjia National Park.These areas can meet the habitat needs of umbrella protected species,flagship species and rare and endangered species in Shennongjia forest area.They are mainly distributed in shennongding,jinhou ridge,Laojun Mountain,Dajiu Lake,tianchiya,Toudaogou and sheared ya.(3)The overall ecosystem service function level of Shennongjia forest area is good.There are few areas with high ecosystem service integrity,accounting for 15.15% of the total area of Shennongjia forest area,with an area of 590.9km2.They are mainly distributed in the central and southern part of Shennongjia forest area,including shennongding,jinhouling,Laojunshan,Dajiu Lake,tianchiya,Toudaogou,sheared ya,Wudaogou,zhangfengling and other places.These areas have superior natural conditions,Therefore,it has a large area with high integrity of ecosystem services,which provides a reference basis for the subsequent boundary delimitation of Shennongjia National Park.(4)Based on the three priority areas identified and the single factor in the identification process,three schemes are obtained.Scheme 1: scheme for protecting the authenticity and integrity of ecosystem,with an area of about 1292.36 km 2。 In this scheme,the areas with high ecosystem authenticity and integrity in Shennongjia forest area will be included in the boundary of Shennongjia National Park to implement the strictest protection.Scheme 2: low cost management scheme,with an area of about952.66 km 2。 This scheme can control the protection cost to the greatest extent on the premise of ensuring the integrity of the ecosystem within the boundary of the National Park.Scheme 3: Community coordinated development scheme,with an area of about1258.47 km 2。 This plan explores the coordinated development of Shennongjia National Park community from the perspective of protection cost and community tourism development potential.Taking Shennongjia forest area as an example,the technical method system of national park boundary delimitation formed in this paper not only optimizes the spatial pattern of Shennongjia forest area,but also provides a case reference for the delimitation of the same type of national park boundary in China.
