Phthalate acid esters(PAEs)is a common plastic product additive with serious environmental endocrine interference.Studies have shown that PAEs molecules have three toxic effects,especially serious potential risks to the male reproductive system,so their existence in the environment should be paid enough attention.However,the research on PAEs in some water bodies in China is not perfect,and the health risk caused by environmental exposure to people is unknown.Therefore,this study selects some typical lakes in China(Qiandao Lake,Dongjiang Lake,Honghu Lake and Chihu Lake)to carry out health risk assessment on PAEs in the above typical Lakes through experimental measurement and analysis of their conventional water quality indicators and pollution characteristics of PAEs.Compare and analyze the relationship between water quality characteristics and health exposure risk.It has improved and enriched the data basis and theoretical basis of the above Lake water pollution prevention and PAEs research.The main research results are as follows:(1)The analysis of pollution characteristics of conventional water quality indicators shows that the TN in Qiandao Lake and Dongjiang Lake exceeds class II water quality,the TN,TP and CODMn in Honghu Lake fail to meet the management goal of class II and the water quality of Chihu lake is classⅤ.The main sources of TN pollution in Qiandao Lake are economic activities,agricultural activities and soil erosion.The main sources of TN pollution in Dongjiang Lake are industrial pollution and domestic pollution,as well as a certain amount of tourism pollution and industrial pollution.The main sources of TN,TP and CODMn in Honghu Lake water body are urban domestic sewage,agricultural diffused pollution and livestock breeding pollution.The main sources of pollutants in Chihu lake are industrial wastewater,urban domestic sewage and livestock breeding pollution.(2)The pollution characteristics and source analysis of PAEs in typical lakes show that Di BP,DBP and DEHP are the main PAEs components in typical lakes.The DBP of some points in Dongjiang Lake,Honghu Lake and Chihu Lake exceeds the environmental quality limit of surface water,indicating that they are seriously polluted and need to be paid high attention.Through the comparative study with other lakes and rivers at home and abroad,we can draw a preliminary conclusion:the PAEs pollution of Dongjiang Lake and Chihu lake is at a medium level,Qiandao Lake and Honghu Lake is at a lower medium level.In terms of spatial distribution,PAEs pollution level is closely related to the location of public service facilities such as residential areas around the lake,tourism development zones,industrial companies,schools and hospitals,and has no relation with the type of lake;The main sources of PAEs in Qiandao Lake and Dongjiang Lake are tourism activities,production and living activities of local residents and agricultural activities;Honghu Lake and Chihu lake are man-made activities caused by industrial and agricultural production activities and living activities of local residents.(3)The health risk assessment shows that the exposure level of PAEs in Qiandao Lake,Dongjiang Lake,Honghu Lake and Chihu lake will not have obvious non-carcinogenic risk to the audience.The exposure of PAEs in 33.4%of Dongjiang Lake water body,22.2%of Chihu lake water body and 5.9%of Qiandao Lake water body will produce non-negligible cancer risk to all or part of the audience.The carcinogenic effects should be paid attention to.The exposure level of PAEs in Honghu will not cause cancer risk to the audience.(4)The comparative analysis of conventional water quality indicators and PAEs exposure health risk shows that conventional water quality evaluation can’t fully reflect the level of PAEs health exposure risk.It is necessary to conduct a comprehensive investigation on the lakes with PAEs pollution risk in China in order to effectively control the health exposure risk of PAEs.
