The service environment of coiled tubing is complex and changeable,and the structural damage of the tubing wall is one of the main causes of failure.For the safety evaluation of coiled tubing in service,the current solutions are not able to provide good guidance,and the industry urgently needs an effective solution for real-time safety evaluation of coiled tubing.Based on this,this paper proposes a digital twin scheme for coiled tubing,and carries out the research on the coupled twinning method of mechanical characteristics and structural damage during coiled tubing operation.In order to complete the construction of the digital twin model of coiled tubing model,the coiled tubing operation mechanism and requirements are analyzed,and the coiled tubing operation equipment and coiled tubing operation process are modeled respectively.In this paper,the wellbore unit of oil and gas wells is firstly modeled,and the wellbore trajectory fitting module is completed for the purpose of establishing a 3D borehole trajectory model,and the wellbore unit assembly from the wellhead to the bottom of the well is completed by combining coordinate parameters to generate a standard wellbore model.In this paper,the digital twin of the coiled tubing model is constructed by extracting key parameters from the structural information and material information to build the coiled tubing unit,which provides the information interface for the data calculation of the behavioral model of coiled tubing running.In addition,the structural damage of coiled tubing is studied in this paper,and the common structural damage of coiled tubing is categorized into structural damage without typical geometry and structural damage with typical geometry.For structural damage without typical geometry such as wall thickness thinning,an algorithm model of contact with the casing wall during coiled tubing running process is proposed,which is more reasonable than the traditional contact processing method,and achieves the prediction of contact situation of coiled tubing running process,and provides load calculation,damage quantification and safety evaluation scheme for wall thickness thinning of coiled tubing running process in combination with wear model.For the structural damage with typical geometry,the model of groove,hole and flake spalling damage is simplified and constructed,and the stress concentration coefficient is calculated by using stress concentration theory,and the quantification of the load capacity reduction of coiled tubing unit based on such damage is completed,which provides relevant parameters for the strength analysis of coiled tubing running process.Finally,a behavioral model was constructed for the process of coiled tubing running.By analyzing the load situation of the coiled tubing unit after entering the well and considering the flexural state of the coiled tubing under the compound action of multiple loads,the criterion of the running of the coiled tubing unit and the internal and external wall strength calibration method under the helical flexural state are proposed;the development of the human-computer interaction interface of the digital twin system is completed,which improves the usability of the system.
