| Silver nanowires flexible transparent electrodes(Ag NWs FTEs)possess outstanding optical,electrical,and mechanical properties,which also can be easily prepared on large scale and have great potential applications in flexible transparent electric heaters and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding.However,Ag NWs FTEs still face challenges on poor electrical and thermal stabilities due to non-homogenous distribution of sheet resistance(Rs)over a large area,and bio-refractory property for environmental pollution.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a facile method for large area biodegradable Ag NWs FTEs preparation with uniform distribution of sheet resistance to meet the requirement of high performance and eco-friendly electrodes practical applications.To this end,by utilizing "coffee ring" effect,a facile templateless spray-assembly strategy to prepare the ordered Ag NWs micromesh(Ag NMs)was proposed in this study.Combining with biodegradable Poly(L-Lactic acid)(PLLA)matrix,the Ag NMs were embedded in PLLA for the biodegradable and flexible transparent Ag NMs/ePLLA fabrication.The resultant electrode possessed excellent optical,electrical,and mechanical stabilities,and degradable property,which can be applied in electrical heaters and EMI shielding,providing a new idea and method for the development of environmentallyfriendly and high-performance Ag NWs FTEs.The key research achievements of this study are summarized as follows:(1)The Ag NMs/ePLLA electrode was prepared by a facile,low-cost,and scalable templateless spray-assembly strategy inspired by the "coffee ring"effect.(2)The Ag NMs/ePLLA electrode possessed low sheet resistance variation(<5%)and excellent chemical and mechanical robustness,providing a high performance electrode platform for biodegradable flexible transparent electronics.(3)The Ag NMs/ePLLA electrical heater(Rs~10 ohm/sq,2 cm×2 cm)exhibited highly homogenous temperature distribution and rapid response time of-6 s with saturation temperature of~111.8℃ at low driving voltage of 3 V.Furthermore,the Ag NMs/ePLLA film also showed outstanding EMI shielding efficiency of~27.6 dB in X-band to effectively prevent electromagnetic radiation pollution and excellent biodegradable property to avoid pollution by electronic waste.The superior functions of heating and EMI shielding of Ag NMs/ePLLA have broad application prospects in industrial,medical,communication,and other fields,which also meet the demand of environmental protection. |
