| China’s toy industry has achieved rapid development in the past decades and become one of the largest toy producers in the world.However,due to the commercialization requirements for cost and efficiency,Chinese dolls present many practical dilemmas regarding the expression of local culture in terms of styling design,which is not conducive to the development of dolls in the domestic market and the Intercultural communication of dolls.This research topic takes the study of doll modeling characteristics under the perspective of Intercultural communication as the theme,by summarizing and analyzing the characteristics of doll modeling in four representative regions in the world market,extracting the modeling characteristics of successful cases,and comparing them with the doll modeling in the Chinese market,and elaborating on the influence of foreign culture and modernization development in four aspects: selection of themes,development trend,material use and function.The impact on Chinese doll modeling.After the above study,it is found that there are four main problems in the styling of Chinese dolls,including the separation of Chinese characteristics and modernization style,serious homogenization and lack of innovation,the disconnection between symbolic form and content,and the conflict between non-genetic heritage and commercialization.In addition,in the toy market,Chinese dolls face the problems of imbalance in the relationship between industrial competitiveness and cultural competitiveness in Intercultural communication,and excessive encroachment by foreign products.In response to these problems,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions: First,to clarify the basis for development,we should focus on tapping into the national cultural connotation,and need to have a thorough understanding of the cultural roots and clarify their cultural content.In the face of the already formed Western modernization context,it is necessary to achieve a balance between national culture and universal values,and to use the world market to develop Chinese cultural industry without losing national identity.Secondly,specific measures are proposed to accurately explore the cultural value and edification function of dolls,to carry out technical innovation and talent training and improve the market operation mechanism.The doll is a kind of cultural artwork full of charm,and the modeling art of the doll is the epitome of national or regional customs and culture,which contains unique cultural value and artistic value.By studying the characteristics of doll modeling from the perspective of Intercultural communication,we find the dilemma of doll modeling in cultural expression and propose solutions,which can help the cultural heritage and cultural communication of Chinese dolls. |
