Two kinds of oxide ceramics,Al2O3 and ZrO2,were selected to form friction pairs with Si3N4 ceramics respectively.Through friction and wear experiments,the friction and wear performance and wear mechanism of the two engineering ceramics under the lubrication of corrosive media were studied.The main work is as follows:Design and carry out friction and wear experiments,using HCl solution and NaOH solution as lubricating media to simulate the corrosive lubrication environment,by changing the friction load and sliding speed two influencing factors,based on the analysis of the friction and wear mechanism,the Al2O3 is studied The friction coefficient,wear rate,surface morphology,and friction products of the two engineering ceramics of ZrO2,and the comparative experiments were carried out with deionized water lubrication.The research results show that the wear mechanism of Al2O3/Si3N4 ceramic friction pair is mainly abrasive wear and corrosion wear.Under the condition of HCl solution lubrication,corrosion wear intensifies abrasive wear,resulting in a large number of pits on the friction surface and a high friction coefficient.After entering the stable running-in stage,there is a phenomenon that the coefficient suddenly increases;under the condition of NaOH solution lubrication,tribochemical reaction occurs,the surface film formation degree is high,the friction coefficient is low and relatively stable.The wear mechanism of ZrO2/Si3N4 ceramic friction pair is mainly abrasive wear and furrow effect.The phase transition from t-ZrO2 to m-ZrO2 occurred during the friction process.When the applied load is 40N,the friction pair under the condition of HCl solution lubrication can obtain a lower friction coefficient.However,the tribological performance is poor when lubricated by NaOH solution.The wear rates of the two friction pairs first decrease and then increase with the increase of sliding speed,and reach the lowest wear rate at 0.08m/s.
