Innovative Application Research On The Mechanical Properties Of One Leg And Three Teeth Structure Of Ming And Qing Dynasty Furniture

Chinese culture has a long history and has produced many remarkable achievements,of which the furniture of the Ming and Qing dynasties is one of the brightest pearls carrying a great deal of historical and cultural connotations and having an important artistic value.The Ming and Qing dynasties had a special type of structural component,known as the ’one leg,three teeth’,which was a special feature of Ming and Qing dynasty furniture,both as a loadbearing reinforcing component and as a decorative component,reflecting the unity of science and artistry in furniture.This thesis focuses on the following three aspects of the mechanical properties and innovative application of one leg and three teeth of Ming and Qing dynasty furniture: the first aspect is the analysis of the components of the Ming and Qing dynasty one leg and three teeth structural components and their development and evolution,and the conclusion that one leg and three teeth structural components began to develop before the Ming dynasty until the early Ming dynasty when they began to be shaped,and by the middle and late Qing dynasty one leg and three teeth structural components began to be simplified and became a unique hanging tooth type of The one-legged,three-toothed component was simplified in the mid-to late-Qing period to become a unique hanging-tooth type.The 52 examples of Ming and Qing one-legged three-tooth furniture collected are divided into three types,A,B and C.Type A: Type A refers to the horizontal and vertical manifestations of the corner teeth,which are shorter horizontally than vertically and are known as horizontal short corner teeth,and are divided into,according to the form of the line foot of the corner teeth and the head,geometric curved light element and geometric curved light element,geometric curved starting yang line and geometric curved light element,geometric curved starting Type B: The angular teeth show four types of combinations of horizontal and vertical direction,the vertical direction is longer compared to the horizontal direction as longitudinal long angular teeth,according to the form of the line foot of the angular teeth and the head of the teeth are divided into,geometric curved light element and geometric curved starting sun line,floral line pattern geometric curved starting sun line,floral line pattern and floral line pattern,floral line pattern and floral line pattern and rolled grass pattern.Type: This type is a deformation of the angular teeth of the one-legged,three-tooth component,and is of the hanging-tooth type,divided into two combination types,linear and curved.The second aspect is the study of the construction principle and mechanical properties of the Ming and Qing dynasty one-legged and three-tooth structural components,analysing the construction principle and the connotation of the craftsmanship of the three types of Ming and Qing dynasty one-legged and three-tooth structural components.On this basis,the model was established by selecting one of the simple and generally representative construction styles from each of the types A,B and C in the statistical sample database,and by analysing the deformation of the model after the force was applied,the direction of force transmission of the structural components of the one-legged,three-tooth furniture was obtained to verify the principle of the construction of the one-legged,three-tooth structural components,and the value of the equivalent force obtained by solving the model.The mechanical properties of the three pieces of furniture are.The mechanical properties of the three pieces of furniture were found to be optimal for type A,followed by type C and then type B.The third aspect is the innovative application of the one-legged,three-tooth structure to contemporary table furniture.The analysis of the current market trend of furniture development,as well as the survey of the market demand for contemporary table furniture design,will be applied to the innovative design elements of contemporary table furniture and combined with the three types of one-legged,three-tooth structure modeling laws to propose three innovative applications of contemporary table furniture design.
