The environmental concerns were rising due to the destructive exploitation of mineral resources. Therefore, created in the study was the Recyclable Particle Material from Paste that was produced with Portland cement and fresh water(RPP)with which the resources-devouring Portland cement was substituted during the preparation of Marine Alkali Paste(MAP).Seawater(SW),Na OH(NH)and Na2O·3.3Si O2(NS)were used for MAP preparation under ordinary temperature. The physicochemical-mechanical behaviors were investigated using uniaxial compression tests(UCTs),Malvern laser particle size analyzer,Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS),X-ray Diffraction(XRD),and thermal-field emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis to understand the essential reactivity of MAP from diverse proportions with age accumulation. The key research contents and results are reported as follows:(1)Design and preparation of artificial building solid waste. The conventional cement paste specimens were produced according to standards in laboratory where all the information of design and preparation was ascertained. The specimens were used as artificial building solid waste.(2)RPP preparation.RPP was produced with specific equipment,by which the further data on artificial building solid waste were also ascertained.(3)Experiments on raw materials. The properties of raw materials including the Portland cement,SW and RPP were investigated using Malvern laser particle size analyzer,EDS,XRD,SEM analysis. The primary database was then established.(4)Design and preparation of MAP.The proportions on MAP were created,by which MAP specimens were produced.(5)Experiments and investigation on performance and mechanism of MAP.With the help of UCTs were applied at first to explore the damage development of MAP specimens. The sub-specimens then were produced for Broken Zones(BZ)and non-Broken Zones(n BZ).The performance of sub-specimens was investigated using EDS,XRD,SEM analysis,by which the mechanism of MAP was explained with attention on ages, proportions and spatial distribution of sub-specimens.The results show that it is completely feasible to use SW to prepare functional materials in marine areas. The ionic components in SW can not only promote the development of material properties, but also become the fabric elements of various functional materials through process control.
