In recent years,countries all over the world have set the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".Many countries focus on the serious environmental pollution and the energy shortage.So the automobile industry has received strong support from various countries and has developed rapidly,which has also driven the rapid growth of the upstream Lithium-ion battery industry and the Lithium-ion battery separator industry.Company X is one of the first pioneers in my country to enter the Lithium-ion battery separator industry.After eighteen years of development,it has occupied the top positions in the field of Lithium-ion battery separators in the world,especially the world’s first sales of dry process separators for many years.How to achieve greater development in the new environment is the problem that X company is facing.This dissertation studies the development strategy of X company.First,the internal resource and ability of X company are analyzed.The company has advantages in Lithium-ion battery separator research and development technology,independent research and development capabilities of production equipment,high-quality customer resources and production capacity;There are disadvantages in overseas patent applications,talent introduction and training,and financing funding.Secondly,analyze external opportunities and threats using PEST and the five-force competition model.The core driving force for the growth of demand for Lithium-ion battery separators in the future will come from new energy vehicles;the market demand for new energy vehicles and Lithium-ion batteries mainly comes from China,Europe and the United States in three countries and regions.Lithium-ion battery separators mainly compete among Chinese,South Korean and Japanese companies.Chinese companies already have Lithium-ion battery separator production capacity and price advantages.Then,with the help of SWOT,a portfolio analysis was conducted to position Company X’s strategy as a positive and stable expansion strategy,including continuing to expand the production capacity of Lithium-ion battery separators,establishing strategic alliances with customers,and seizing the overseas Lithium-ion battery separator market in three aspects.Finally,in the strategy implementation and guarantee link,the X company’s strategic management organization and functions were optimized,and the strategy implementation process and performance monitoring system and key performance indicators were established to monitor the action plan of the strategy and achieve the strategic goals. |
