With the continuous acceleration of the construction of my country’s transportation infrastructure and the vigorous development of the automobile industry, the number of automobiles in my country has increased rapidly.According to statistics from the Ministry of Public Security,as of 2021,the number of motor vehicles in China will reach 395 million,of which small cars account for the largest proportion of all types of vehicles. Therefore, road traffic safety has become the most important concern for people traveling by car. When the vehicle is driving on the highway, the change of the wind power level causes the lateral force acting on the vehicle to change, and the stability of the vehicle during the entire driving process will be affected.Research on how to avoid the side slip and rollover of the car under the action of different levels of wind when the vehicle is running in good weather conditions and dry road sections. In the research,a two-way six-lane expressway is selected as the test road, the width of a single lane is 3.75 m,and the model is a car.Specifically, the Santana and Kia Smart Run are used as test models to carry out simulation research.Chapter 1 puts forward the main research contents and technical routes for safe driving of cars with different wind levels based on the relevant research of domestic and foreign experts on vehicle safety and stability under different wind levels;Chapter 2 analyzes the effects of different wind levels on stationary cars.Stability influence, study and determine the evaluation index, establish the mathematical model of the car under the action of wind force under the static state;Chapter 3,analyze the influence of different wind power levels on the car stability in the driving state, study and determine the evaluation index, and establish the vehicle running state.Mathematical model affected by wind;Chapter 4,according to relevant research,to carry out simulation experiments with Santana and Kia Smart Run as test vehicles,to explore wind level, wind direction, and the safety of test vehicles at different speeds;Chapter 5,The relationship model between lateral force, vehicle speed, driving speed, travel time and sideslip distance was established, the sideslip distance was calculated, and MATLAB software was used to fit and analyze the calculated sideslip distance and the sideslip distance measured by the simulation experiment;Chapter 6 summarizes the full text, proposes innovations and looks forward to the future. From the above research,it can be seen that the influence of different wind levels on the driving safety of cars mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The vehicle is in a stationary state on the horizontal road, and when the wind power is lower than level 11,the vehicle will not slide and roll over;when the wind level is greater than or equal to level 12,the vehicle will slide sideways, but will not roll over.;When the wind level is greater than level 12,the vehicle will slide and roll over. The comparison shows that under the same conditions, the Kia Smart Run is more stable and safer than the Santana.(2)When the vehicle is in a driving state on a level road, with the increase of the wind power level, the stabilizing moment and the overturning moment both increase gradually. When the angle between the lateral force and the X axis is 0°,the overturning moment increases the most;when the angle is 60°,the increase is the smallest. When the vehicle is driving on the road, under the condition that the angle between the lateral force and the x-axis remains unchanged, the greater the longitudinal slope of the road, the slower the increase in the overturning moment, and the lower the wind level that causes the vehicle to roll over. When the longitudinal slope of the road surface is constant, the larger the angle between the lateral force and the X axis, the smaller the overturning moment, and the higher the wind power level that causes the vehicle to roll over.(3)When the sideslip distance of the test vehicle is(0.01 m,0.95m),the driver can control the vehicle so as not to be in danger by adjusting;Adjustment, the vehicle is in a dangerous driving state, and it is easy to collide with the curb;when the Santana sideslip distance is greater than 1.023 m,the sideslip distance exceeds the maximum safe range value of the test vehicle running under the simulated wind force, and the driving state is more dangerous and easy to use.Collision with curbs, guardrails, etc. It can be seen that compared with large passenger cars and trucks, the allowable distance for sideslip of small cars in windy weather is larger.(4)The sideslip distance is proportional to time, driving speed, and wind level. When the driving speed is 40-60km/h and the wind level is 1-8,the sideslip distance of the test vehicle is basically consistent with the calculated sideslip distance;if the wind power level is greater than 8,the sideslip distance of the test vehicle in the test is the same as the calculated sideslip distance. The distance is different and the vehicle rolls over. When the driving speed is 80-120km/h and the wind level is 1-3,the sideslip distance of the test vehicle in the test is basically consistent with the calculated sideslip data;when the wind level is greater than level 3,the sideslip of the test vehicle during the test is basically consistent. There is a big difference between the distance and the calculated sideslip distance, and the vehicle will roll over.
