Electric arc furnace is an important part of steelmaking equipment.Under the background of today’s healthy economic development,electric arc furnace steelmaking is more important than ever in the whole steel production because of its characteristics of low pollution and diverse products.Therefore,it is very necessary to improve the smelting effect of large electric arc furnace.Taking the 130 t DC electric arc furnace as the prototype,the flow behavior of molten metal in the furnace under different conditions is studied by the combination of numerical simulation and physical simulation.The effects of oxygen lance injection flow,oxygen lance angle and oxygen lance arrangement on the mixing effect of EAF molten pool are studied.The results show that different experimental factors have significant differences in the influence intensity of mixing in EAF molten pool.The enhancement of oxygen lance injection flow can improve the mixing strength in the middle and lower part of the molten pool,increase the average speed of the molten pool and increase the reaction rate.When the oxygen lance arrangement is C,The molten pool is easy to form a large cycle,which significantly improves the mixing ability of jet to liquid steel in EBT area and furnace wall area of electric arc furnace.The reduction rate of dead zone volume and weak flow zone volume of molten pool is the largest,and the mixing effect on molten pool is the best.Based on the above experimental research,in terms of the coupling of magnetic field and flow field,the magnetic fluid coupling interface in COMSOL is used to compile the electromagnetic force equation with induced current and magnetic induction intensity,and the flow field is introduced in the form of force.Therefore,for the stirring effect of molten pool,the promoting effect of electromagnetic field is very small compared with the injection flow.In the process of molten pool mixing,the stirring effect of oxygen jet on molten steel in molten pool is dominant.Figure 41;Table 20;Reference 60...
