| At present,the international energy security is threatened,various countries have restarted coal power,and China’s carbon peak and carbon neutral work has also been challenged.But in the long run,the target of carbon neutrality will not waver.The key to achieving carbon neutrality is to reduce total carbon emissions and increase carbon productivity.According to the International Energy Agency(IEA),China’s carbon emissions will remain stable in 2022,in part due to the spread of renewable energy.The promotion of renewable energy cannot be separated from the role of renewable energy technology innovation.Renewable energy technology innovation can promote the use of renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions;on the other hand,it can generate new jobs and promote high-quality economic development.It can be seen that renewable energy technology innovation plays an important role in improving carbon productivity.In view of this,this paper identifies the influencing factors of carbon productivity by path analysis method,explores the influence mechanism of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon productivity,and analyzes the spatial spillover and spatial heterogeneity.In order to further reveal the "black box" of carbon productivity,the channel effect of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon productivity through space intermediary model,so as to provide theoretical and practical basis for the development of low-carbon economic policies in various regions.Through demonstration,we draw the following conclusions:(1)through the verification of spatial dubin model,it is clear that renewable energy technology innovation has a positive effect on carbon productivity;the indirect effect of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon productivity is greater than the direct effect,indicating that renewable energy technology innovation has a strong spatial spillover effect on carbon productivity;the influence of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon productivity has heterogeneity at the level of eight economic zones.(2)industrial structure in renewable energy technology innovation and carbon productivity between the positive channel effect,renewable energy technology innovation by "improve renewable energy use,meet the demand of low carbon,improve the renewable energy industry chain system" to optimize industrial structure,and through the structure of industrial structure,technology effect,resource allocation and scale effect on carbon productivity.(3)the level of opening to the outside world between renewable energy technology innovation and carbon productivity positive channel effect,renewable energy technology innovation in "expand the scale of low carbon products-improve low carbon competitiveness-value chain status" for opening to the outside world,by affecting the opening of the export product structure,scale effect in the global value chain,input and output structure,low carbon innovation ability on carbon productivity.(4)The channel effect of environmental regulation on carbon productivity of renewable energy technology innovation is not significant.Therefore,we should encourage renewable energy technology innovation and formulate corresponding laws and regulations;strengthen the cooperation of renewable energy technology innovation between regions,and give full play to the space spillover effect;optimize the industrial structure and promote high-quality opening to the outside world to enhance the promotion effect of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon productivity;and formulate renewable energy policies according to local conditions to promote the promotion of carbon production in each region. |
