| As a product of cultural intermingling,the Mogao Cave Yingluo is highly localised in China in the context of the multi-ethnic fusion of the Tang dynasty.This great leap forward has secured greater research value for the Mogao Caves Tang dynasty.This paper focuses on the innovation and development of contemporary ornament design through the use of glass art as a medium to transform the traditional classical art style into a modern fashionable design style,and to promote the development of the Mogao Cave Tang dynasty Yingluo in a new light in contemporary times.This study focuses on the main forms of celluloid worn by Bodhisattvas during the Tang dynasty and how they were combined with glass materials to create the design.The main objective of the study is to analyse the characteristics of the Mogao Caves Tang dynasty celluloid and glass materials using the various elements of CMF design,to build a design model and select the characteristics and advantages of each to form a complete CMF design system,and to produce six sets of practical examples of each design.The design of this project is based on the definition of the Yingluo,its origin and Chineseisation,the main forms of the Yingluo,and the value and development prospects of the integration of the Yingluo with Chinese traditional culture.Based on the CMF design,the analysis of the Mogao Caves Tang dynasty celluloid form is then presented,with the four elements of colour(C),material(M),surface treatment process(F)and pattern(P),and the characteristics of celluloid are analysed in depth,and some of the celluloid from various periods of the Tang dynasty are mapped in detail.Secondly,we analyse the application of glass in contemporary jewellery,establish the choice of glass materials,innovate contemporary jewellery design ideas,and explore the C,M and F characteristics of glass in the CMF design elements.Finally,the colours and patterns in celluloid and the materials and techniques in Yingluo were selected to complete the model construction and form a complete CMF design strategy to guide the design of home accessories and fashion jewellery respectively.This study integrates CMF design between modern glass art and traditional celluloid elements to produce a contemporary ornament design with a decorative aesthetic orientation.It not only provides a design path for designers,but also promotes the heritage of traditional celluloid in contemporary times,proclaims the contemporary value of Yingluo,and meets the needs and decorative aesthetics of more people. |
