With the rapid expansion of debt in real estate development enterprises and the continuous weakness of market demand,China’s real estate industry has been experiencing an unprecedented downturn in development in recent years.As an important upstream industry of real estate,the development of China’s architectural ceramics industry has also encountered enormous challenges.While the sales volume and profit of architectural ceramic enterprises are rapidly declining,their massive accounts receivable are also facing greater default risks.In this context,how to effectively manage the risk of accounts receivable and reduce the impact of upstream real estate companies’liquidity crisis on ceramic firms has become an urgent problem that needs to be solved.This study focuses on the risk management of accounts receivable in MN ceramic company.Based on a review of accounts receivable and risk management theories,previous research on accounts receivable management are reviewed.Based on the accounts receivable data and existing risk management methods of MN ceramic company,the current status and problems of accounts receivable risk management in MN ceramic company were analyzed.Following the logical chain of risk identification--risk assessment--risk control,a risk evaluation indicator system for MN ceramic company accounts receivable was first established.The accounts receivable risk of MN ceramic company was analyzed from six aspects:policy,market,customer credit,finance,decision-making,and organization.Subsequently,the Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to determine the weight of each risk indicators,and the fuzzy evaluation method was used to evaluate the current accounts receivable risk of MN ceramic company.The results indicate that among the accounts receivable risks faced by MN ceramic company,organizational risk is the highest,followed by customer credit risk,decision-making risk,financial risk,market risk,and policy risk.Finally,based on the results of the risk assessment,improvement measures were proposed for the accounts receivable risk management of MN ceramic company. |
