Metal laminates synthesize the advantages of different metal plates,make up for the deficiencies of single metal plates,improve the mechanical properties of materials,have excellent comprehensive properties,in vehicles and ships,construction industry,aviation industry,household appliances and other fields are widely used.In the actual industrial production requirements,the metal laminates need to be processed,and the most commonly used process method is bending forming.As the structural characteristics of metal laminates are more complex than that of monolayers,the flexural formability of metal laminates is more uncertain than that of monolayers.Meanwhile,it is found that metal laminates will be damaged during the bending process,especially the layered damage that monolayers do not appear.In order to ensure the high quality of metal laminates,it is necessary to study the bending formability and damage of metal laminates in depth.In this paper,a kind of stainless steel/aluminum alloy/stainless steel metal laminates prepared by rolling in the actual industry as the research object,through theoretical analysis and combined with finite element simulation and experimental verification method to study the bending forming process,analysis of its bending forming properties.At the same time,based on the cohesive force model,the damage of the interface layer during the bending process was analyzed.Based on this,the influence of bending Angle,bending direction and concave-convex die parameters on the bending process was discussed.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:The plastic forming theory of basic metal sheet,the bending forming basis of metal laminates is analyzed.The bending forming model of metal laminates was established in ABAQUS finite element software,and related parameters were set according to the actual production process.Through the simulation results,it is found that the bending performance of metal laminates is complicated,in the bending forming of each layer of metal plate stress is not the same,the maximum stress of 430 stainless steel plate,followed by 304 stainless steel plate,the minimum stress is 3003 aluminum alloy plate;In the analysis of the bending site,it was found that serious deformation occurred at the edge position and stratified damage occurred at the interface layer of each two layers of metal plate.The damage distribution was analyzed by the damage reduction stiffness variable SDEG in the cohesive force unit.It was found that the damage did occur between the interface layers of the two metal plates after the loading of the bending forming process,while the damage conditions of the upper and lower interface layers were different,which was consistent with the layered damage phenomenon at the bending site.Then,the influence of different parameters on the bending formability was investigated by single factor method,and the experiment was carried out by comparing with the finite element simulation process.The phenomenon obtained by the experiment is basically consistent with the simulation results,which verifies the validity of the finite element simulation.
