Under the background of the epidemic,my country’s national fashion consumption power has plummeted,and with the emergence of the digital economy,the domestic fashion doll industry,which was originally niche,has gradually entered the mainstream attention of consumers,while foreign high-end fashion houses are inspired by the epidemic.This historical product has been revived and through it expresses the prospect of future life,the academic research and design practice of fashion dolls is particularly important at this moment.However,this exquisite design,which embodies a history of clever moves in the fashion industry and is full of the designer’s bright vision for the future in difficult times,does not have many audiences in China.The expectations and needs of the fashion doll image do not match.Therefore,how to design around the local cultural symbols can not only meet the growing national self-confidence needs of the people,that is,the existing local culture,but also meet the people’s expectations for the future fashion culture,and carry out appropriate localization design on it.It is one of the key issues concerned in the research field of doll image design.This topic will introduce the theory of semiotics,hoping to effectively improve its adaptability to Chinese local culture through the localization design of fashion doll images,so as to meet the needs and expectations of Chinese users for fashion dolls.This subject first sorts out the historical documents of the fashion doll image,and through the analysis,obtains its development status and future trends and points out its existing problems;then combs and refines the literature on localized design to obtain three levels of localized design,which are respectively Symbol level,meaning level and concept level;semiotics,as a subject of meaning research,has a natural fit with localized design.Based on this,it is pointed out that the Morris symbolic trichotomy that can be used to systematically analyze artistic symbols can also be used to analyze Analysis of the localization design of fashion doll image symbols;then,this paper starts from the meta-language in semantics,that is,the element composition of fashion doll image design,and fully understands The basic identification attributes of fashion doll image design symbols and the formal relationship between symbols.Secondly,this paper systematically analyzes the semantics,grammatical and pragmatic elements of the fashion doll image through case analysis,and makes a corresponding analysis on the constituent symbols of the fashion doll image,their referenced meaning,and the extension of the use of symbols in the social and cultural context;Then,based on the existing problems of fashion dolls analyzed in the second chapter,combined with the elements of the fashion doll system based on semiotic analysis and induction in the third and fourth chapters,the corresponding fashion doll image localization design strategy under the guidance of the three dimensions of semiotics is output;Finally,according to the above design strategy,combined with the product positioning "celadon vanity dream" based on the actual brand "HOURI",output specific design practice.This topic analyzes the trend and problems of fashion dolls,and applies semiotics theory to guide its localization design.The theory and design practice show that the fashion doll image localization design strategy based on semiotic theory does play an active role in the designer’s design process.This will provide a reference for other fashion doll designers and the fashion industry,and to a certain extent can promote the development of my country’s doll and fashion industry.
