The Qilian Mountains are a significant ecological barrier and resource treasure in northwest China. They aie of great significance to the overall security(ecological, political, economic, cultural, social, territorial, resource and energy and international security,as well as national harmony)and well-being of the people. To this end, this study first systematically analyzed(1990-2020)and projected(2030)the spatial and temporal changes in land use in the Qilian Mountains, and then constructed a comprehensive index for CES combining four modules of the In VEST model: water production, habitat quality, carbon storage, and soil conservation,to assess the Finally, using the circuit theory, the ecological security pattern of Qilian Mountains was constructed, and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward,to provide a scientific basis for the construction of environmental civilization and the realization in ecological product values in Qilian Mountains. The results show that:(1)the spatial and temporal land use change in Qilian Mountain area are m ore significant. From 1990 to 2020,the main land use types in Qilian Mountain area are grassland and unused land, with the average area share of 58.85% and 31.71%.respectively,land transfer is also dominated by the two.Its land use d ynamic attitude changes significantly, with construction land being the most signi ficant, with a decrease of 5.00%.Its comprehensive land use degree increased ov erall, with an increase of 0.16%.In 2030,the primary land use type in the stud y area is expected to be grassland, accounting for 59.05%;compared with 2020,the scope of cultivated land, forest land, and water scope decreased, and the are a of grassland and unused land increased.(2)The value of ecosystem services in the Qilian Mountains area is generally enhanced. The ecological service functions of water production(120.85%),habitat quality(1.45%),carbon storage(1.68%),and soil conservation(62.42%)in the study area were enhanced. The overall level of integrated ecological services increased rapidly from 1990 to 2010,decreased from 2010 to 2015,and increased slowly from 2015 to2020,with a spatial distribution pattern of “high in the southeast and low in the northwest.”(3)Discerning the driving force of ecosystem service value change in Qilian Mountain. The geodetector model shows that NDVI has the most significant influence on the integrated ecological service level, followed by annual precipitation and distance from the settlement;the two-factor interaction detection shows that all the driving forces have enhanced effects on the spatial distribution and variance characteristics of CES after mutual interaction;the spatial variance of Qilian Mountain CES is influenced by multiple factors rather than a single element.(4)Construction of ecological security pattern in Qilian Mountains. The environmental security pattern of the study area constructed in this paper consists of 130 environmental source sites,307 ecological corridors,195 ecological pinch points,92 high barrier areas, and 298 low barrier areas, forming an environmentall security pattern of two wings and three blocks: the two wings are Qilian Mountains National Park and Nanshan-Zhongononong Mountains in Qinghai Province, and the high barrier areas among the three barrier areas are distributed in Jiuquan City and Among the three barrier areas, the high barrier area is distributed in Jiuquan City and Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the low barrier area is distributed in the central and western part of Qilian Mountains National Park and the southeast of the study area.Based on the results of this paper, this paper suggests that ecological protection and restoration in the Qilian Mountains should be carried out by actively promoting the construction of road protection forests and high-standard farmland forest networks to widen narrow corridors;strengthening plant cultivation and protection, controlling the expansion rate of construction land and taking necessary restoration measures to maintain and manage pinch points;focusing on protection for low barrier areas and adopting ecological restoration measures such as wind security and sand fixation for high barrier areas;and also suggesting the promotion of At the same time,it is recommended to promote the "one household, one post" ecological caretaker system,to achieve the win-win goal of environmental protection and income enrichment for community residents. |
