Impact Of Environmental Regulation On Green Industry Development In The Yellow River Basin

In order to achieve the Chinese modernization goal of harmonious coexistence between man and nature,we must not only achieve high-quality economic growth,but also solve the contradiction between economic growth and environmental deterioration,lack of resources.In recent years,the problems of excessive energy consumption and weakening ecological carrying capacity in the Yellow River Basin are very serious.Therefore,it is very important to protect the environment of the Yellow River and promote green production.The green industry can improve the level of green development by technological innovation under the promotion of environmental regulation,the balance between economic benefit and ecological benefit has been realized,it is a powerful means to solve the problem of green development in the Yellow River Basin.However,what degree of environmental regulation can best promote the development of green industry in the Yellow River Basin? Can technological innovation play an intermediary effect and achieve a greater driving force?The study of these problems is of great significance to explore the path of green industry development in the Yellow River Basin.For this reason,this paper summarizes the relevant literature and theories of environmental regulation,technological innovation and green industry development,analyzes the main research viewpoints and research deficiencies,and defines the research direction at first;Secondly,taking the panel data of nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin from 2001 to 2020 as research samples,this paper measures the environmental regulation index and technological innovation index,establishes the evaluation system of green industry development and the evaluation index of measurement index by using normalization method and entropy weight method,and analyzes the development trend of each research variable in the Yellow River Basin;Thirdly,according to the research results of domestic and foreign scholars and the relevant analysis of the above,the influence mechanism of environmental regulation and technological innovation on the development of green industry is discussed;Finally,the empirical test analysis of the intermediary effect,threshold effect and regional heterogeneity of the index data measured in the previous paper is carried out.The analysis results show that:(1)Technological innovation can play an intermediary role in the impact of environmental regulation on the development of green industry in the Yellow River Basin,and the two can jointly promote the development of green industry;(2)There is a double threshold effect of environmental regulation on technological innovation,and moderate environmental regulation has the strongest effect on promoting technological innovation;(3)Environmental regulation and technological innovation have different impacts on green industry development in different regions of the Yellow River Basin,among which the middle Yellow River region plays the strongest role in promoting green industry development.According to the above conclusions and the actual situation of the Yellow River Basin,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Strictly implement the Yellow River Protection Law,accelerate the practice of green development concept,and integrate green concept with production and life;(2)Formulate the development mode of green industry according to local conditions,promote the dynamic transformation of traditional industries into green ones and promote the development of green industry with appropriate environmental regulations;(3)Establish a green industry development corridor of "co-construction","co-governance" and "sharing" in the Yellow River Basin.
